  1. The 4.125 puts out 125 Watts per channel @ 4 ohms. Each channel is stable down to 2 ohms. Then rms is 250 watts per channel. :)

Just speaking from bad experience....Amps under $100 like to catch on fire xD

Edit: If you like the 4.125 then I think it's the way to go

Yup, Its probably going to be that, its getting alot of love on here. Thanks guys.

  2. Max 75$ is just kinda low for a halfway decent brand 4-ch. If it were me, I would wait, save up alittle bit more money and shell out the extra 75-100 for a decent new amp

Yeah, I have a little extra cash to play around with just trying to see if there WAS anything decent but like I said, I am really like that mb quart 4.125 hmm...

  3. If you could get another 100, check out the MB quart 4.125. Great amp for the price.

I was just about to suggest MB Quart too

I was thinking MB quart too, I haven't heard anything really bad about them and I've been suggested them before. Would you guys consider the 4.125 over lets say the 4.60 or the 4.80? I just didnt want to spend anymore than 100 but I have been hearing everyone talk about the 4.125 so much I might just grab that over these other crap ones I am looking at.

  4. What is the power rating for your tweeters? IMO you should be fine

Honestly, I dont even know, Im pretty sure they are stock GM or Jeep tweeters. So probably not high at all. I think for now I may try out the mp6's un-amped because I currently dont have a 4 chan and my speakers now are loud just no mid-bass at all. ahh, im so confused! haha

  5. If you were to run the tweeter and midrange in parallel on each channel, you would be at 2.4 ohms, which would be fine since that 4 channel is 2 ohm stable, and does 100 watts at 2 ohms on each channel.

Edit: 6 ohms? You using a home audio tweeter or something?, just wondering

No, I believe they are stock gm tweeters? I bought a set of ten of them on here for like 5 bucks a long time ago, they sound pretty decent surprisingly. I know the MP6's can handle the 100 watts but Im not sure about the tweeters, even at 50 watts. Maybe I will just run the mids, do you think I will lose alot of the highs without them? because every video ive seen of these mp6's they sound really well even without tweeters on although those are just videos.

  6. Hey guys, Im on a pretty shitty budget but I want to run 4 Crescendo mp6's and 4 tweeters off the MB quart FX4.50. The crescendo's are 4ohm each and the tweeters are 6ohm... Would this even be possible? Im stil pretty new and I've never ran a 4ch before so I'm not real sure how it all works.

EDIT: If this isn't possible, Im all for not using the tweeters or just saving up some money and buying a better amp to handle it, just trying to get your opinions.

  7. Yeah, it's gonna/should be be as loud as your Polks for the MP6 since the Polks has a 93db sensitivty, and the MP6 also has a 93 db sensitivity. Could be even louder since companies sometimes measure their db sensitivity different from one another.

alright thanks for your help, I might buy them and then get an amp soon because I'm looking for louder. These are struggling being heard over my subs

  8. These mids have a high db sensitivity, so for normal music listening levels, your headunit should do fine for now if you're just directing replacing mids.

By normal listening music what do you mean? When I have it up, I usually have it at 35-38 on the H/U and thats screamin loud and still very clear and I only have polk db571's in there now.

hmmm I am liking these so far, do you think it would be a waste without a tweeter and a crossover? ...and an amp for that matter? I do want to add a 4ch amp in the future but for now Im still using the h/u power, think I should wait until I get a decent crossover/tweeter/amp? Or would these be ok off just the h/u?

  10. yeah they haven't had any for a LONG time... you have to pay attention to the for sale threads and grab them as they pop up.

I have been, Maybe Im missing them when they come up, its killing me!

My brother has a set. Not sure if he's wanting to get rid of them or not. I'll ask and let you know

Alright cool, Let me know! Thanks again

  11. I just looked up "unlocking" and I can't believe how easy it is! Thanks again my man! Things like this should be pinned here since they are perfectly legal and don't void the phone warrenty, looks like it works for iPhone too!

Now to pay att off.lol, fuck 'em

Be careful with that warranty shit though, sometimes carriers (in size 2 font on there fuckin contracts) state that unlocking the phone will break the warranty although its not really that common so you will be fine.

    Your welcome bro, good luck!

  12. how do you unlock them? It's an HTC Inspire. Thanks for the reply by the way

Hmm...let me see. Sometimes you have to pay but sometimes you can call ATT directly and tell them you would like to unlock your phone and most of the time they dont have a problem doing it for you, they give you a code you enter it and done. A few times though att has told me my phone could not be unlocked for (insert bullshit reason here) so I've bought the codes online. I only use blackberrys so I would try this site if I were you.

    http://www.htcimeiunlock.com/htc-inspire-4g-unlock

You shouldn't have a problem, might take a little while but they will send you the unlock code if they dont give you one instantly.

    and no problem!
