  1. ha yea sorry bout that minor detail!! but the reason Im asking is cause I dont wanna blow em after paying a small fortune for them lmao but still wanna be able to hang with the boys who run 4 DC 15's with a AudioPipe 3000! or close to them at least....

4 DC 15s can handle more than just one ap3000 haha, you wont really come close to that, no offense. You could get an ap3000 and run it at 2ohms though, It would push those subs nicely.

  2. subwoofer level on the headunit changes the amount of voltage going through the preouts for the subwoofer. more voltage = louder. turn it to +15 and youll notice a difference. turn off everything as i stated twice already. just do it already.

not to thread jack but I thought sub levels were supposed to say on 0? I have a pioneer hu and i leave mine on 0, going up gets louder but it distorts should I retune my gane with ym sub level on +6?

  3. orly?

its internally strapped to make wiring easier if you hook one sub up to each side it will run the amp at 1 ohm or conect both pos and both neg from subs and run it to one input will be the same

So even though I have my subs running at 2ohms, even just hooking the subs up to 2 of the 4 pos/neg its still dropping it to 1ohm or is it keeping it at 2ohms? Sorry if I am asking too many questions.

  4. What should I set it at? This is the first amp I've had with an adjustable one so Im not even sure what to do with it. (ap15001d) I have it at off right now.

Also the amp has 4 speaker connections but its a mono amp, I have two 4 ohm svc subs at 2ohms, Is it possible to bridge it to one channel on this amp for a final load of 1ohm or am I missing something here...

  5. I have mine set around 100hz and I never have a problem with highs hitting in the subs or maybe Im not understanding what your saying, I know most people set it around 75-8O, try that and see how you like it.

Oh, I forgot I have a LPF on my headunit set to 80hz so It doesnt matter what my amp is set at so maybe thats why.

  6. This is right from DDMtunings website.

"If both sides are flickering it can be caused by a few things. More than likely because the car can’t supply enough power to the ballasts on startup. You can check this by connecting the adapter cables on the bulbs to the battery with the bulb and ballast connected. If the kit fires up without any problems you will probably need a wiring harness.

If your car has Daytime Running Lights (DRL) if could be caused by the car quickly turning the lights on and off to give the effect that the halogen bulbs are running at half power. If the flickering is caused by the DRL you can try a wiring harness or have the DRL disabled (NOTE: disabling the DRL may not be legal in all areas, check with local laws before doing so). The flickering can also be caused by the car’s self-check system to see if there is a working halogen bulb connected. This can typically be corrected with the BOW3."
