  1. You can get an aq 1200 for like 200 shipped.... No need to be an ass. If you have no monwy don't you think other things should come before subs ...

that isn't really your business.. anyways, Tue MB quart is more then enough. Just go with that.

Someone kind. Thank you sir, it's appreciated.

No offense but Mike was being kind, he did what you asked him to do, and you came back with a smart ass comment. You dont ask people to help you out and then shit on there suggestions.

  2. dealers arent always the best. I would find a Porsche technician and stick with him.

The best thing about going to the dealer is with more expensive vehicles they not only give you a courtesy vehicle to drive any and all work "They" do at the dealer is covered so if they screw it up you are not ass out like you would if chico n dem did it because you thought they were specialist for your vehicle. I agree the dealer sucks sometimes but they usually cover preventive maintenance anyway so no need to even come out of pocket.

    Exactly.

Beautiful car btw, my brothers girlfriend has one for her weekend car, I used to hate porsches till I drove that. The interior alone sold me.

  3. I had a problem like that once, just the fog, not the annoying, loud A/C noise. It only happened once, just blew out some fog on a really hot and humid day, but that's all it was, fog/vapor. I took a temp reading at my vents and it was coming out at 48 degrees, and the inside temp of the car was over 100. So it was just fog due to the big ass temp difference. Same thing that happens when you breathe outside on a cold day. The only time you'll know that the A/C is taking a dump on you is when it stops blowing cold air, or if that loud noise gets extremely loud or starts squealing. The noise is somewhat normal, it's just the clutch engaging. Depending on how old the unit is, it might just be getting louder over time.

This exact thing happend to me in my sisters MDX, I was driving it on an extremely hot day and fog/smoke started rolling out of the vents. I freaked out and opened all the windows, shut the ac and I even held my breath for a few seconds before I realized what it was haha. Yah, I overreacted.

  4. He's from Wisconsin, Milwaukee I believe. He's pretty legit actually. He deals Surreal Innovations last time I checked, which are pretty badass.

This dude is a JOKE. Surreal Innovations were fake subs, they were sonic soundlabs with a different cone. I made a thread about him boasting that his 2 10" Si's could handle 6k and people on here slammed him.

    Read about it there.

  5. Think about what is going on in a amp ... its ALWAYS making amplication of signal ... Thats why you hear people on this forum say that you do not use your gain control knob as a volume control ... its job is to make power

Would you run a washing machine with no water ?? same principle ...

I'm lost...How can it make an amplification of a signal if there isn't one to begin with? (no rcas connected) Not trying to be a dick, just asking

  6. my sub. mids and highs sound shitty, but you can cleary hear the sub difference, and it loses loudness as well

Well with your mids at -8 I can see that but try this...

    Bass - 0

    Mid - 0

    Treble - 0

    Sub Volume - +15

HPF 150hz, (only effects door speakers)

    LPF - 80

no no no, set it to 0. Kenwoods clip as soon as it goes to +1 sub volume on the H/U.

Ahh, my mistake. Never used a kenwood before. Is sub volume on those considered bassboost?
