  1. A friend just sent me this link, its in the D. Nice place, been there before. They have some good brands from what I remember, do some nice work.

    This is the link

    http://ask313.com/events.html#

    anyone heard about this?

it says listen to 97.9 for more details

    free bikini car wash.

Hopefully some loud people go there, there will be a prize. I just want to go, hopefully I didn't miss it?

  2. dude nice trick could we see some flex :) and how many watts u running the btl on

flex is annoying, i need deadner so bad lol.

its running on 2 rd audio 1750v2s at .5 ohms each. should be like 3500-4000 probably before rise

I'll try to actually use a camera to get the flex

idk about the tricks to hairtricks/bottle tricks. I just played songs with pretty constant bass

    thanks guys!

and hairtrick vid should come soon, have to find someone willing

  3. If possible, try experimenting with your current box before you build another one. You are running sub up/ port back right now, but what happens when you turn that same box around so that the port faces front? Left side? Right Side?

In Explorers, I try to keep all the output as close to the back hatch as possible. Hasn't failed me yet.... :hairtrick:

Really I thought farther away would be better! Maybe I'll try that out. ill try turning it around too see how that sounds.

    thanks

  4. What do you all think is the best style of box for ford explorers years 2002-2005?

Right now I have a decent box, sub up port back (in the bottom middle of the box). It sounds nice, but I think that it could be a ton louder with a better box style and building it better.

It was my first build box, im ready to try again. I'm thinkin birch, but might just use mdf.

Ive heard sub up port back to the drivers side/pass side, and sub up port up. Don't know which one I want to do.

It is for a 18" btl btw, not asking for designs, just styles that should work well.

    Thanks

  5. i liked mine, sounded good to me. Too bad they burnt up tho. They are going through a recall right now.

its rated at like 14 v

and it gets like 3000 at 1 ohm

    3250 at .75 ohm

and some other stuff (I think)

i liked the amp but if i didn't have to go through whats happening now id be a lot happier

  6. what brand is that 0 gauge and how flexible also how much u selling those 88ah for ..

ps u know anyone with a ho alt for 3.8 fords lol

the brand IDK its welding cable tho, i'll twist it to show u how flexible it is, its very flexible in my opinion.

theres plenty of people sellin alts, look into DC power, mechman, iraggi, or even local places they can rebuild alts for you and sometimes specialized places arent to expensive

  7. Product I'm looking for: 0 gauge wire about about 30-50ft but i need it to be two diferent colors ( example 25ft blue 25 ft red )

also looking for some batts (100ah + ) ... let me know what u got and how many

( nice 250a alt for 3.8 ford would be awsome )

Budget: 250 cash plus i got some 20s rims willing to trow in for trade

    pic up on a request

i got like 100 ft of black i think 0 guage,

    and 7 88a/h c&d tech batteries

also 1 100a/h battery in the forsale section

    lmk if ur interested

  8. There are very few subs that can take a true 4krms daily.

I would wager to say that 80% or more of the setups with 4 or 5k amps on thier individual subs dont even come close to the amps rated power.

yeah im sure most subs will have rise lowering the power the sub actually sees, but if its 4k clamped id say itd be a little more difficult to pull off

  9. O really? he was real cool when I met him. I drove like 1 1/2 hours to jackson to meet up with him.

He had the HW on the aq 3500 and he was sayin how he wished he woulda bought the BTL over that lol

Too bad on the amp, I havent ran mine yet cuz I need a recone for the btl, checked to see if it would power on and thats all.

Going to send it in when Steve gets the new amps just to make sure its good.

Hit me up whenever tho mayne, im always down for a demo.

definately definately. It would be interesting to see how our systems compare in completly different cars lol

and yeah I've had the line converter in since my first system. This kid installed it and when I got some knowledge realized how bad of a job the kid actually did.

I look at him as a complete dumbass now.

I think the line converters gains are completly up considering there wern't directions on how to set it I haven't bothered changin it.

Would I be okay with 4v front and rear/sub switchable if I will be getting a mid/high amp?
