  1. Wow thats funny...put one of those in the mustang I'm doing and myself spent a couple days tring to figure what the the hell was making all the noise...turned out that the amps and the deck were all fucking up(sound stream3500 and a 4.520)..sucks when the gear is messing up.The last thing you want is for al your new gear to take a shit on ya!!!

Yep, never again will I buy anything made by Pioneer, I didnt spend $500 on this radio to have noise...

  2. Had this same problem, try grounding the RCAs, if that doesnt work replace them, and if that doesnt fix it is the radio. Pioneers are bad about the internal ground going out and causing noise. even my deh-980bt has this problem. I spent probably 2 weeks trying to figure our where the noise was coming from and its the radio. Did a install in a guys truck yesterday that had a DEH 6800 and it had aweful noise, replaced it with a Kenwood and the problem was solved.

  3. i use to have a crunch amp. it wasnt all that great. it had a huge over heating problem. i dont know if they resolved that. and it wouldnt go down below 2 ohms and the sound was a bit muddy. i forget which model it was.

We sell them at the shop I work at and I havent been impressed with them, they are not true power, the 1000 watt only does around 400, but for $120 they arent to bad. And if you run them at low ohm loads they will overheat, when we install them we run them at 4 ohms. There are better amps out there.

  4. Ive got a single mojo 12 in my 99 civic coupe running off a mojo 2500d at 1 ohm daily with no problems and it does 146.8 legal off the stock charging system, Ive only added a second battery in the trunk.

A single 4kw would work but those subs can hold much more power than that. They work really well for spl with around 2000 watts. Another thing to remember is a mojos are dual 2 ohm, so if you can afford it go with 4 2500s. If not I would do a single 4kw.
