Well my system sounded good. But bigger is better right? The DC 2.0K is gone. I traded straight across for a Memphis Mojo MCD4KW. It is hooked up and bumpin hard. I will keep it tuned down till i get do some more electrical upgrades. even turned down, and not tune very well its hitting hard. Pics and vids maybe this weekend.

Cool. Let me know how it sounds. I would love to see a build log. I don't think I woul have the space for a 4th but my wife has two 8"s in her car and plenty of room.

How much power? I would go .3. I run mine ported. Keep us posted how it sounds sealed.

That actualy didn't answer my question. I'm not asking about airspace or power ratings. I'm asking about cancellation by having some subs face forward and some face up. I would fire everything forward, but the box dimensions will not allow that. So, if I fire the port and 3 subs forward I will get as close to all forward as I can get, then I would have one subs facing up. Right now the port is firing to the side, with only about 4 inches of space. So, will having subs face more then one direction in the same box cause any problems? Otherwise my only option might be subs up and port forward.

So i just built my box for my 4 lvl 2 8"s, the subs face forward and the port is facing the driver side. Normall i go all forward, but trunk dimensions wont allow that. Could I get a gain by facing the port and 3 subs forward, and one sub up? Or two subs up? Would the subs facing the two different directions cause cancellation? The system sounds good, and hits good, but i think i can do better.

Finally the amp is in, luckily everything works properly. Here is a video, from my iphone. FPS fail . I will get better videos this weekend. The gain knob is backwards compered to the last few amps I've had, it took a minute to get used to.

I just ordered one of those cables from dealextreme.com for I think $4 or $5. It should be here in a day or two

I just got off work and home to my amp. On the downside, it has been dropped or something. Found a scratch on one side. and the bass knob has been beat up. It doesnt look like anything major, but still a bummer. I will hook ip up tomorrow and make sure it works.

My DC 2.0 came in!!! But I'm here at work until about midnight.

Most the time I'm a believer in craftsman. It was the cheapest router they had. On sale for around $50. I will post vids later this week. Amp should be here Tuesday, but I'm working till pretty late that night.

So I finally spent the money on a Craftsman Router. I was trying to cut out the circles for the subs, and this is what happened. This was the fourth cut. I got my money back. http://www.youtube.com/user/herbykw?feature=mhee One of the local shop owners let me use his shop to finish some stuff up.

Here is the finished pics of my wifes install Sounds pretty good. Two 8"s, DC 1.2k, Mechman 270a. I might redesign the box later, just try to get a little more out of these little guys.

Well I got more work done in preparation for the amp coming. I bought some nice Stinger wire, but didnt plan ahead. When I went to wire the subs, I had to strip all the extra coating off holding the two wires together. Not a huge fan of Kickers wiring diagram compared to Fosgates The subs are in and Mounted and wired. The Stinger battery is in and everything is ready for the amp. I had to make a bracket to hold the box level and secure it in place, then another to support the battery and the amp. Didnt get any pics of it. Its nothing special. Just need my amp, it will drop in, connect the wires and tune.

Delivery date was today....now its tuesday.

I finally got the money and placed the order for my amp today. Cant wait to get it.
