  1. Thats beast! and the set up looks good with the 2 inverted and other 2 not. And that port looks beastly.

Hope that CD wasn't important. hahaha

Thanks, yea i liked the two inverted subs, and it was the only way I could get the port and subs all forward. lol I didnt think it would break the CD, but i used and old one just in case.

box looks sweet...now go get a vacuum and clean that shit up lol

Thanks and yeah, looks like someone dumped a pack of glitter in my car. :(

  2. Dont use Airbagit.com or any of the other many names they go by. I bought from them, they told me specifically they were sending a BOLT ON KIT. WHen i got it, the rear was weld on, and the front was not even for my car. I called them and they said " we dont sell bolt on kits for that car" and I told them i couldn't use the front setup if i wanted too cause i would have to cut HUGE amounts on my upper and lower control arms, then weld it in. they replied with "see you can use it, you just dont want too" Then they refused to refund my money and only gave me store credit. I got the shaved door handle kit, and that cheap POS doesnt even work. the reciever and remote will not stay linked. STAY AWAY.

  3. This box is much larger then the previous one. Luckily i did a test fit with the top of the box off. Cause this new box would not fit into the car with the top on. where the baffles go back to the port fit snugly over my center console to get it in, they i could lift and lay it down in the back seat. Then i had to put the subs in, wire them, then the port, and then put the top on before i could slide the box into the trunk. it was interesting.

  4. Thanks everyone. I got a little more work done today. The new box is about 3.6 cubes tuned at 32 hertz. I have everything working...ish..

You cant really tell, but the amp is mounted to an amp rack, not straight to the box. lol

The deck still doesnt work, so i can not adjust any settings, and If i want to change songs i have to unplug my ipod, change songs, then reconnect. :( This setup is hitting hard. I will get more pics and videos up later.

  5. My rear view mirror shook off my windshield, hit my shifter and flipped into my DVD player breaking the screen. Anyone know where i might be able to find a replacement glass? the LCD display is fine, but its just the glass that broke. It is a JVC KW-AVX640 with a 6.1" screen. The glass had a 7711 on the bottom. Any help would be great. Thanks.

  6. Well yesterday sucked. My rear view mirror has been loose. I just left and audio store and bumpin a bit and my rear view mirror fell off and broke my deck. :( The right half of the screen still works, but not the left. I cant adjust any of the audio settings.

JVC wants about $350 plus shipping to replace the screen. Screw that, thats more then i bought the deck for new.

  7. no no haha don't want to have 2-300 lbs slowing the stang down, and 4 is the most i can fit in my trunk, posssibly 5 but that'd require some mad skills, (forgot to mention that my wife has a scion xb with plenty of room ;-) mwhahahahahahaha

I thought the same thing for weight. I have a 05 GT with 4 DC 8"s on a Memphis 4k. Surprises people when try find out its just 8"s. but after 4 8"s, the box, wire, battery and amp. The weight still adds up. Stang still moves though

  8. those 8s are movin good! =]

are u gunna get it metered soon?

Probably not. There are onlyntwo shops in this area with a meter. Both have an audio control meter. One of them in would not go back to if they paid me. The other want $30 for 15 minutes. :(

looks good man looks like my box with my 4 vvx-8's

Thats Cool, is yours ported? If so what size port and what are you tuned to?
