OH, you are asking where on the box to cut the holes for the port? I have played around with ports forward and backward, slots and aeros, I have had the best luck with aero ports forward. I have the ports between the subs, but someone recently told me to move the ports to one side and I should see a gain. I think i will leave them centered. Everyone says flaring the ports inside and out will give you a noticeable gain. I am in the process of making my own flares, and hopefully in the next week or two will know if it does make a difference.

Here ya go.
But what do you plan on tuning it to? My box the ports are half in and half out of the box, no flares. Im working on flaring mine and the flares should be at both ends of each port.

I like the multiple subs pounding together. But getting crazy with 10"s or 12"s is badass.

AQ2200
X3. I had two L7 15"s on a AQ2200 and it was a great combination. I think it would be a LOT louder now that my box design/build skills have improved.

I recently got a welder, and I practiced a little and tried welding over the door handles for the shaved door kit. It isnt a pro job, it may be ugly, but it should work.

If your just looking for some lift you can get different types of kits from summit. They are real slow, but they work. I got one of them for my project. It's temporary, later down the road it will get switched out to fast bags

In my experience if your box has space on the top and side face it back. If there is little to no space around the box to the front of the car face it forward. I had my subs up port forward and the box barely fit in my trunk, it worked, but was a LOT louder when I opened the trunk.

So last week a buddy of mine dropped off a flowmaster muffler that goes out to dual pipes. I'm pretty excited about it. Hopefully in a week or so I can get it on the car and see how she sounds.

I have a auto tinting rear view with onstar. It's a lot stronger then a regular one, but when I turn my stereo up it still rattles and faces down. My radar detector bounces like crazy too. i will check back to see if there is any way to reduce the rear view from moving too much.

My buddy had that problem in his GTO. He bought a dremmel for about $20 and used it to cut the lip out of the inside. Fixed it for him. Just make sure your rubbing on the lip before you waste time and money cutting it. I had 20"s on my Monte and they rubbed up when i had anyone in the back seat. It road like crap so i went back to 18"s. good luck

I have a 46" LCD PhilliPs with 240 hrtz refresh. I like it. I wanted the 55" but not enough $$$$. I can project my laptop to it wirelessly, have Internet radio and it has a USB port for music and pics. I got a good deal at Sams club. Good luck

I kinda think it's a wise idea to go the electric route, especially nowadays like the OP said. With any nitro, you'll be buying fuel, glow plugs, batteries for the glow plug lighter, air filters, etc. It ain't cheap, which is why I'm trying so hard to get rid of mine. Treated correctly, a brushless system should require a heck of a lot less maintenance. I'll say it again- I'm a fan of Revos. The two vids posted show it can take a beating pretty well, like its larger sibling. However...2wd is more fun if you wanna be able to step the rear end out and slide the truck around (even) more...
I use Nitro cars. I have a Jato 3.3, Ofna Hyper 1/7 and a Revo 3.3(my wifes). A gallon a fuel last us a while, and since both of ours have the easy start, with rechargeable batteries, we dont have to worry about glow plug lighters. After having the easy start, I couldnt go back to pull start. I love the sound that the nitro cars make. I did consider going Electric, just cause you dont have tune them, and worry about fuel, glow plugs ext.
Check out Losi, they have some cool looking cars too.
This is the Speed T, its checp, but the base price doesnt include the battery or charger(if i read it right).

Looks like a cool car though.
Tent T Nitro comes with telemetry on the remote showing current and top speed, temp ect. plus has a engine start from the remote.

"video is set to private" fail, double post....double fail

Maybe a app with some quick refference stuff. JL and Kicker have some with wiring wizard stuff and box design. I don't care much for them though.

Thanks everyone. I am kinda going for the lowrodder look. I like my cars like I like my woman, clean shaven. The door handles are gettng shaved. And all the chrome trim and decals are gone. I don't know if I want to shave the opera lights off are not.
Port length? Where to cut?

9.5" from outside of flare to the end of the port. If you flare both ends of each port outside of flare to outside of flare. Put the subs and the port on the same side of the box. If you use those adapters as flares then i would sand them as smooth as possible and make it nice and make the airflow nice and smooth.
