Well first, take a measuring tape & get the dimensions as they are. You might be surprised. I measured mine (not a Ford), and I can fit a Deka 9A31 stock.

i didnt see anything loud, the stuff was movingbecause the speakers were right under the desk.

When we last built our dock (about 2 years ago), a friend of my dads let us borrow his nail gun. It didn't use like a compressor. It had these cartridges that you popped in & out. Anybody know what I'm talking about? It was nice b/c you didn't have that chord getting in the way constantly.

every body quit being cheap & get some ALO RCA's... Those are the best you can buy & about $700 for 3-6ft...

my first question is y do ppl go out and buy these big ass systems and then have to come on somewhere and ask how to hook it up? if you ask me if you have to ask how to hook it up you not ready for it..

Does the car already have a stock subwoofer? I know some do & have stock small amps. If so, just replace w/ your amp & subwoofer and keep the same RCAs.

Blow them away? That's hard to say. They both handle the same power & it's ALL in the install. I think they are VERY comparable. If I had to choose b/t the two, I'd I choose DC. It's all what you want though. Was going to go w/ DC, but now I'm going to go w/ a single IA DP 21" instead of (2) DC LV4XLs. It'll save me $1000 and I'll get that 'wow' factor when people see it.

first time I heard that since most good quality subs are made form alum. coils.
