I need a high output Alternator for my Lexus ES300. It seems that no one can help me. My stock alt only puts out 80 amps. One company wanted $400 for only a 180 amp alt. Anyone out there with a lexus or toyota who did a alt upgrade? Where did u go?
lol...Join the group. It's like $450-$500 for meh Range Rover. But I think I'll just stick w/ the stock 150A for now.

I thought redtops were bad for car audio?

i want sport...i want fast as hell and back trails and such just all out fun. im not a fan of utility. im lookin into a suzuki 400ex or raptor 660
o i c.

Do you want a utility or racing? I have a 2007 Big Bear 400. It's independent suspension, diff. lock, & so on. I had to tow out a friends expedition with it with a Warn 2000lb winch. My friends mouth bout dropped to the floor when I pulled him out lol. It's slow though. It's top is like 45 so it's geared REALLY low.
Umm... I like Yamaha & Arctic Cat. Honda is just too far behind in technology for my tastes. But, the new Grizzly 550 or 700 is BAD ASS.
Check out HighLifter.com. The BEST ATV site. Bust mostly all those people are mud riders & so on.

put the video on youtube or something that will allow you to stream the video not download it.
I dont trust downloading things from sites Ive never heard about.
all that site is is an uploading site. All you have to worry about is the file itself, not the site.

I was also curious on this. I saw an AQ logo on a box one time. It looked nice.

how about this: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7324_Kinetik+HC+600.html
How can we make a suggestion w/o knowing what amp(s) you plan to use?
If you plan on running 2200RMS, you need to run the HC 2400 probably especially if you don't have an upgraded alt or you don't do the big 3. That little battery will not get you by.

how many watts should i use?
for what?

you have the birth sheet?
It's a Sundown. 'nuff said.

W-BB = Warez-BB.orgwhat is this W-BB you speak of? lol
i cant remember which model they are, but we have a few pairs of some AKG's in the studio, the ones with like 5 drivers per side or some shit, they sound good just dont pull enough power to get loud enough (we got plenty of power too them too, big ass JBL amp running the headphones).
It's a forum like this one full of anything you could want. They only downside is that most files are hosted on a site called RapidShare.com. Now to download more than one file every 36hrs on RapidShare, it cost money. I think a month of membership w/ a 80gb permonth is like $15. But I buy the extra netshare so I get 180gb limit a month for $30. Your left over bandwidth also carries over.
I get screeners for most movies there (DVD quality)...Like this past Jan., I downloaded The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Taken, Revolutionary Road, Sumdog Millionaire, & more all before release date in DVD quality.

I would honestly run a nother cable back up to the negative. I've read ALOT of times people have higher voltage. That picture is wrong.
it should look like
[1st BATTERY +]--{FUSE}-------------------{FUSE}--[+ 2nd BATTERY]

yarpi think something with REAL detail like REAL music might be easier to tell......i love rap, i love big basslines.... but its not really what i would consider real music, or i should say "reference" music
With acoustical bands such as DMB, it's really easy to tell a difference in bitrate & speaker quality.
-
Well, all my downloaded music is above iTunes. I ONLY download 320kb & FLACS. Every now & then, I'll go w/ a 256kb.I also don't use Limewire or iTunes. I just use W-BB for everything. I pay about $30 a month to download any movie/music/program for free.ill take that $100 challenge lol.
128 is the lowest i would ever use.
i always rip my cds at 256 or better.
all that downloadin shit off of limewire or w/e else people use is terrible quality.
in our recording studio we have an extremely acoustically correct room, with amazing speakers driven off of amazing amplifiers, and we were listening to a few different cd's the other night looking for ideas and we came across a few (store bought) cd's that sounded like low bitrate mp3's. i was amazed that someone would put something like that out to sell.
Oh, I can tell a difference. I have a pair of AKG K701s driven of a home headphone amp. You can tell a pretty big difference w/ acoustical music. These headphones weren't built for rap/hip-hop anyways.

just like that sundown, i cant find a place to buy it... wheres a good place?
http://www.audioque.com/aq/order.htm
^^^^ There you go. I also posted links to the Sundowns. Look at my previous post.

Buy an AQ 2200D. It'll pair up good w/ the LV4XL. It's the same price as that JBL w/ twice the output.
-
where can i get a Sundown SAZ-1500D? How many amps should i look for in a battery? and all id need to get is 0 guage power wire right? would i have to change the ground wire?
thanks.
You want the same size ground wire as the power wire. Don't forget about fuses.
You can get a new 1500D here: http://shop.tech12volts.com/product.sc?cat...amp;productId=2
You can get a refurb here: http://www.db-r.com/sell/store2/index.php?...products_id=204
i have hifonics 2600 and i would say if its under rated i wish every amp i have had would have been under rated .very good amp and very power hungry. O and 0 gauge .
Most people here & other places will tell you that they are overrated.
-
I would suggest a better amp. The Hifonics does not put out rated power at all. That would be under powering them. I suggest either a AQ 2200D or a Sundown SAZ-1500D.
-
You want one fuse 16" or closer away from the front battery on the Positive line. Then you want another on the rear battery at most 16" away from the rear battery. So when you get through, you should have two fuses on the same cable each very close to its own battery. Then if your amp is not internally fused, wire another b/t the rear battery & the amp.
-
It needs to be in MPEG-4. There's a BUNCH of converters that can do this for you. After it's converted, just drag & drop into the iTunes.
-
I think I just....wait hold on.....Yep, I just cummed in my pants.
And this lucky person payed how much for this beast?
-
Ok...the ONE question that has not been asked, nor told: What is your price range?

300A is too big. The amp itself only draws 200. So I'd say 225.
