yah the roof is the worst spot no doubt i have a 97 with 2 american bass xfls running off only 1 audioqu 2200d for now and its pretty bad i cant imagine what its gonna be like with the 2nd 2200d in

ok so i have 2 15" american bass xfls running off of 1 audioque 2200d the settings on the amp are lpf half way up which is around 100hz subsonic 0 bass boost 0 and gain is almost 3/4 up anyways my subs sound like they are bottoming out or just being clipped severly and i dont understand why but when i turn down the lpf or gain it goes away ive been talking to mike singer because he designed the box and has helped me alot with the build and hes thinking it could be the aero port lenght in my box i have 4 4inch aero ports in a 6.5 cu ft box and they are 15 inches long each so would shortening them help to stop the bottoming out? or what else could it be???

ok well im not heating the wire im heating the terminal, i watched steves vid and it helped but it still doesnt puddle so im going to cut back on how much heat i give it and i am gonna let it melt some solder in and then let that cool like TheBetterMethod said

so did you end up getting it to work with a vise? or how did you fix it

so im thinking its cuz im not using a vise but when i feed the solder into the terminal it doesn't start to puddle at the top and it starts to run down into the wire and melt the jacket. so why is this happening? because im not using a vise?

That is all you can do with dual 2's but i have dual 4s

ok so i have 2 dual 4 ohm subs that i want to run off of 2 audioque 2200ds strapped at 2 ohms and im confused on how to wire them because the amp has 2 positive and 2 neg outputs here is a pic to help exlpain

ok so i dont know too much about batteries and im confused the hc2400 has 2600 max watts and 128 ah were as the d3100 has 5000 max watts but only 110 ah so which battery is better?
