4th order
10cuft bottom
8cuft on the sealed top part
port 30" wide x 6" tall x 12" long 240sq
48 hz
2 ascendant audio 18s
2 memphis 4kws
single cab shortbed chevy
-
when is the nex car audio show going to be in sacremento area
-
if some one had 2 18s in an explorer that hit 150db on 34hz and some one had a single cab chevy with 6 15s that hits low bass 150db at 26hz, which bass would travel the furthest from the car. and why. cause if you watch jacks chevy in videos you can just hear all the flexing from his truck, and in the exploer videos it sounds like you can hear the bass more,
-
charge him 150$
-
id sell the rockfords and get the dcs, id rather wall two 18s with more power than two 15s on 200watts
-
ya he has a cool design but i think his is at like 18hz i dont want it that low. i had some people on another forum under subwoofer/enclosures that this will be a failure design
-
ok what would you suggest on doing
-
why you say its a fail design
-
dont you already have a thread about this?
ya i do didnt know if i would get more infor since i posted it under subwoofers/enclosure and the last one was under spl

i have a 95 chevy short bed single cab and is trying to decide what to buil 8 or 10 15 inch dc aduio level 4xl on 4 memphis 4kws. what type of box should i do. i have 4 memphis 4kws
-
i hope it will be loud
-
ok cool ill get a pic of it and post it. then check back some time a look at it.
-
even if you tune it higher going down the tunnel there is no way to determine the ending frequency, moving it closer to the cab will leave you with less guessing
did dwright27 get my message i dont know if it went through. what does ftmfw mean. and ill have to look at my homies program he has for boxes and see about the front port. should there be a port on each side
-
i like the idea, but i would say move the subs back farther and take it across the back, then port in the front as close to the cab as possible so you have less chance of drastic hertz drop from the tunnel
should i have the subs face toward the cab
-
do a blow through like Jacks with 8 15s
i though jack had 6 15s
-
this is my idea
-
if he does a blowthrough he will have tons of air space.
no i have 4 memphis 4kws
