Bass boost up or down?
-
Yeah with a clamp I believe. Can you answer the other questions I asked lol.
-
Where are your grounds grounded to? I'm wondering if that alternator isn't doing anything at idle... Bring the RPMS up and see if you still get mad drop. Also what about your amp gains.
-
A cap can only help if you got the proper electrical to back it up. What kinda alternator did you get? We need to know this. Where are your amps grounded and how are your gains set? Everything secure as far as power wire? How are you monitoring the voltage?
-
I'm not actually trolling. I was just posting. I really do dislike "my" autozone. I find cheaper and better parts at oriellys. That better for the people who thought I was trolling?

Read the diagram Kranny posted.
How are the coils wired...
-
Well if your HU has a LPF. Max the LPF on the amp. It allows the HU to do the LPF.
-
I know I'm not in cali but the only time we got pulled over for loud exhausts is when we cut the cat off a couple of our cars and had to wait to get to the exhaust shop. I got exhausts on my 2 vehicles but my truck can get pretty loud. I'm also in a redneck town too so that probably helps lmao.

Where is NEUMAN! Lol
-
-
Well obviously I didn't say go get one you wear. lmao We all know they are either in the closet or thrown away.

What abouts a leather jacket haha

It's amazing that those are 8s. Nice work Ray.
-
Just because it's been fine since 06 doesn't mean the ground hasn't come loose or something weird. Picture of the setup would help. Like where it's grounded and such. Just to say the gain probably isn't set correctly.
-
Where is the location your grounding it at.
Pictures would help.
-
We told you on your last thread we doubt it will fix it. I guess you ignored it. Go back and read what we said. Bad ground. Gains set improperly. List goes on.
-
You can't cram 4 gauge into the 250. It has small spade terminals.
-
That 250 is 8 gauge. Buddy had one. There is probably a different reason for you having issues. How are your grounds and how did you gain the amp? Bass boost on or off? Did you just ground the amp to the closest spot you could without scrapping the paint off?
-
Loud off. EQ Flat. Subwoofer shouldn't be on reverse. Should be on normal IIRC on those decks. Gain is not a volume knob. Don't keep turning it thinking it will be louder.

No decaf here anymore. After megaupload went down so did his links.

Technically you paid to support the site...

You didn't get a alternator from MechMan or DC. Of course the shop you went to can't make a bigger one. It probably isn't even 240 amps.
Just reread the first post. Yeah that's alot of power with a alternator that probably isn't doing anything and no batteries.
