  1. OH it was that lose wire. on the second page Thiers a pic, like the last post on thier or something like that.

The Positive wire came lose inside the box xD. Re-Wired it and made sure that this time it was clamped on good.

Oh yea added terminals on my wire that go to my amp :D. Ill post a pic later but atm its raining outside.

    Thanks Guys for the help.

  2. Got cha.. Thats what i had it before and it was overheating.. i guess ill just demo it now.. lol. on for 1 min off for 5 min xD

Dont worry. New amp is in my mind atm. Selling this piece of junk either to a friend for $100 or Mr Pawn shop for any price they can think of thats at leat $100+ ima tell them its worth $250 and try to get $150 and work my way down :D:D:D

  3. I'm not trying to be negative, but as long as you keep buying kenwood amps you're going to keep having problems. kenwood makes some of the worst amps ever. I had one that got recalled for catching on fire, alot of them overheat and just cause more problems than they're worth imo

even the mono ones ? I really want to go for the 1800, not 1500. But if i must *sigh*... I guess i got Hifonics by my side..

  4. Oh i feel ya. Ok so i just put them on the let side at the amp part right? Because in bridged mode my fuse pops xD... and i did it at 1 sub per channel but thats when the problem persists and my amp was overheating because it goes to a 4 ohm load instead of a 2ohm load xD. I think??

In that picture, you only have one side of the amp powering 2 subs. Since you ran one sub to the terminal on the box, those 2 wires on the amp should be in the bridged section of the amp.

Leave the positive where it is and move the negative over one more tab to the left

Ur talking about bridged.. Thats when my fuse pops xD.

  5. Alright fixed the problem This is how it looked like when i openeed the box. The positive wire came lose xD.

If your wondering how i wired them.. If you looked at my previous post.. i know ur lazy but since my box is ported it has a long middle bored in the middle.. so what i did is.

    This is the middle board.

So instead i wired them through the outside like this..

    Right side:

Left side: Connected them together through the left.

    And connnected these like so:

  6. well i have tried to re-wire them witch is probably why its come to this point. Thier both 4 ohm subs. I tried to re-wire it to give the amp a 2ohm load and both were working at the time. Today i notice when me and my friend went cruiseing and he said it sounded loud and i was like ehhh they dont sound loud anymore.. So when i was going to show them flexing only the right was moveing.. so yea.. i dont know i tried doing it parallel and no go.. i think its the inside the wires probably vibrated lose. hmmmm..

Woot just called in to work and they said i go in at 6 so i have time to take them out real quick. Deuce.

  7. In your other thread you said the amp keeps popping fuses, now one sub isnt working. Dude, get a new amp and move on. I mean, overheating, popping fuses, one side not working.....How many more signs do you need?

Yea it pops fuses when switched to bridge mode. Lol. I have it at volume 7 and it stays normal i put it at 15 and pop goes the fuse xD lol.

its not that, its just yours is overheating, other people have said they keep overheating, its not worth the risk to spend more money on something that will keep overheating, you need something thats built like a tank and doesnt get hot which is why people have suggested other things such as sundown or DAT or even audiopipes... theres other better amps out there.

Well from personal experience and seeing that my dad in the past once had a system as well with 2x 10's he had a kenwood amp and some shit name brand of 10's lol. He said it would never overheat and i have seen some videos and ppl talk about kenwood saying thier cool to the touch. So yea ima stick with kenwood. Amps... Moveing on to differnt subs later .

  8. yea sorry guys forgot to mention. Thier 2 12" Kenwood subs. Basically brand new already had for about 1 1/2 weeks.. so yea umm I beleive its the amp going out or like you said a lose wire inside the terminal inside the box.. but i dont really know... dont got time atm gotta go to work soon.. but dammit.. i hope its not the speaker because it would be makeing a Popping noise if they were poppped correct?

The amp is a 2-channel shit amp and its kenwood. Going with a 1800 watt Kenwood Mono channel amp next week when i get paid :D

  9. Ok so you all know or most fo yall know that i have a shitty amp thats 1000 watts. Well for some odd reason the Left sub isnt hitting. The right one is still moveing and the left like barley moves but i dont know if thats from teh other one or not. But yea.. i dont know if my amp can power up both of them anymore because the amp might be going out. I have it set to normal. and i tried running them parallel but no go.. =/ so yea i dont know what to do now -_-. Any suggestions here guys..

  10. Ok wow .. I like Lil Wayne and all.. yes has very good music but i will NEVER EVER pay anything to see him live. WoW.

In this video it could be the camera but none the less he sounds like hes getting "Strangled".. he sounds like caca live... no joke
