  1. Just recently tore down a build and I have 3 D3100's and a D2700 with one of the 1215 intellichargers. My question is what's the best way to store them? Acceptable temperature range, do they need to be on a shelf or cardboard or anything? Is the 1215 good enough for charging all of them? Can I just keep the charger plugged in for the couple of months they will be sitting? Thanks in advance.

  2. So I just get an email saying I'm getting a refund for my DD-1? And a message from the merchant saying "there was an error in the shipping rates from USA to Canada. I apologize...your money has been refunded. Feel free to purchase again and i will see to it you get yours right away! Sorry! Steve Meade" So I don't understand? I'm supposed to wait for the refund to go through after 3-5 days and order again at the bottom of the list? I ordered this thing since August! Steve there has to be a better way to do this. Was the shipping cost THAT far off? I don't think it's fair because I paid the money up front over a month ago, there has to be a better way.

BRO, listen......it WAS far off, VERY far off. Its been costing me $75-90 to ship orders to canada and people have only been paying $18-24. I didnt catch it for the first 15 so you can imagine how much money i have lost in the process. I have set yours, as well as the others that were refunded aside. If you want it i will hold it till you re-order. You wont go to the bottom of the list.

i am HIGHLY grateful you guys purchased so its nothing personal. I knew a few people would get PISSED OFF in the process but i had to stop the bleeding. WORST case scenerio for me is the people that were mad got REFUNDED... so no money has been lost. Just time, which i can make up for if i have to.

again, sorry, and i mean that bro - if you are so gracious to re-order, i will make SURE yours goes out right away.

Ok bro, that's understandable, I can respect that, especially with such a quick response! I don't know why such a small item is so expensive to ship, there's no way it can just be sent USPS? Maybe it's just Fed Ex that's so expensive. I don't want the DD-1 I NEED IT!!! Got all these huge multi amp systems to properly tune. Let me know if there's any way it can be sent USPS, if not I might have to ship it to buffalo, new york to that CBI shipping address place. Once again, thanks for the reply.

  4. I ordered mine on Aug. 19 order number says 100000327 so I guess that's #327? It still says processing, no tracking or anything yet. And it will probably take a bit longer too because I'm up in Canada. Hopefully I don't have to pay any extra taxes or duties or anything. I'm just hopeful I get to have a signature on mine!

  5. Your gonna want to meter the remote wire at the head unit as well. I've seen on some deck a remote wire just randomly starts to put out 6 volts or something. They mess up sometimes, so I'd check that out as well.

  6. Another Power Generator on wheels is being built huh...lol...it's like every 2 months something crazy pops up, like Trippi's original build, and you think to yourself how much more wild can a street beater get. Then someone does a rebuild, more amps, more subs. What I respect the most about this...keeping the back seats. It's cool when you can take a junker car for a shell to cram a bunch of stuff into just for competition and then you put it back on the truck...but when you can roll out with 3 or 4 people shaking china out of cabinets in the neighborhood and acquire noise citations for trying to demo your ride...that's truly special.

  7. We're here hooking up 3 XS Power batteries. 1 2700 under the hood, and 2 3100's in the back and there is a HUGE debate over running 0 gauge grounds from the front battery to the rear battery. On one hand people say grounds are supposed to be short as possible and ground everything to the frame using as short of possible wire. On the other hand everyone on this forum seems to run multiple runs of Power and grounds from the front battery, or batteries to the rear. What exactly is the reason for that?

  8. Dont for get to fuse coming off of the front battery and just before the back battery bank. If you ground in the back make sure it is a good ground with no welds close to it. Best bet will be multiple runs of 0gauge wire from positive to positive and negative to negative.

Ok that was the plan, we have more than enough wire. So done like that I could ground the front battery to the frame and hook up the alternator straight to the front battery and then wire the battery bank in parallel with the front battery. Or would it be better to have a separate run of 0 gauge power from the alternator for the front battery and the battery bank?
