I know, i am mad at myself too, but i tested it and it's still 100% fine, (used a multimeter).

NEVER use electrical tape, just put 2 wires in 1 terminal (for both + and - that is)
thats what i was going to do in the first place, but my dad suggested this awesome plan, the 2 wires in the terminal don't matter if they touch right?

The wires that say electrical tape are twisted and then electrical tape over that. Is this wired correctly for a 1 ohm load though?

I think i like EVERY single song on this album, it's definitely been a while since i could sit through an entire album and I think this one is doing it for me. You have to kind of get use to the songs, but after that you find all of them to be fire.
Anyone else agree?

Alright well earlier this year my headunit crapped out (stock ford explorer 2002 xlt) and wouldn't pull the cd in, the things that pull and eject the cd don't work. Then randomly it started working, and after getting my car repaired it stopped. So now my Bday is on sunday, and I figure I might as well get a new headunit.
I'm looking for a decent, affordable headunit. Near the 150$ dollar range I guess. More or less, Idk how much to be exact and I know I can't get that good of a headunit for that price but it should be better than nothing.
I'm looking for subwoofer rca output, preferably 4v preout or higher (idk, maybe 2v won't be that bad?), iPod Touch (1st gen) hookup and so I can play it through the headunit, and thats about it? Something fairly easy to use.
a Double din will fit my explorer, but I don't mind with single din or double.
Help me out guys!

honestly it wouldnt hurt to get the options even if you werer putting 20rms to it. id almost garuntee you will wanna upgrade amps later anyway. what size bl's

i would go with the hyper pole (includes cooling) and not get the flatwind if it is daily. but if you will be using it for comps and stuff to then get the flatwind.
the cooling really extends the life of the sub.
like i want my friends to go "jesus fuck" or something like that lol, but if i can achieve that without flatwind, i just want to know how big the diff is? 2dbs 100dbs?

if you are only using 1200 watts, I wouldn't get cooling...Flatwind would still be a good idea.
what about hyper pole?

I read all about them, but for 1200 watts, do you think i need flatwind or cooling? or would hyperpole be enough with the new BLs?
1. Does flatwind really get THAT much louder?
2. Does cooling REALLY keep it that much cooler?
