which tranny is it the 4l60e? If so and it has that many miles its goign to need replaced soon.
Truth ^^ I just purchased a new motor and tranny for my hoe and it has 155k on it. I love this body style of tahoe but you have to take into account that at over 200k on the body, shit has been worn down and will need replacing. Shocks, brakes, bushings, etc etc. If I were you, I would wait for something else. Plus 10 mpg on a good day is not for everyone.

The engine in the tahoe is not correct. To my knowledge GM never made a 5.2 chevy motor. The engine that came in those vehicles is 5.7L V8. I have seen some obs tahoes with 5.3 that the owners custom fitted in there, but never the motor the seller has listed. I would check up on it very well. Have someone who knows what they are doing take a look at it with you.

I have yet to see an incident on this site where an individual straight bashes anothers install without giving some sort of constructive criticism. If there is something missing or something that was done incorrectly on a build that was posted here, you can be sure that there will be someone who will try and point that person in the right direction. I wish I could say the same for other sites but this is the life of the internet my friend. As long as someone is able to hide behind a keyboard, they let their mouth run. If it has happened to you, I would take there words with a grain of salt and move on and continue your build.

make sure the tank is as close to empty as possible. You dont want to have to mess with that thing when it has 20 gallons of gas in it.

This would be more correct. 0 means they tax more. 1 means less and so on and so on. Claiming 1 will get you less of a return, but gives you more of your money throughout the year. Shit use the IRS tax calculator on the irs.gov website. Seriously, I try not to give them shit. My money now!
And this is why I dont do my taxes anymore... haha. Whatever "numbers" mine are, I am guessing I claim 0 as I have no dependents and am single, I get alot taken out each check and get a good chunk at tax time. Ugh this thread has reminded me to go see my tax man to get everything sorted out seeing that I changed jobs like 3 times this year. :gun: :head: :bang:

if you claimed 0 all year plus the extra. claim 1 on your taxes and you should get something back. like i said atleast you dont have to pay.
Before I did this, I claimed 1 all year, then 1 on my taxes. I owed $50 when it was all said and done. Started claiming 0 and then 1 on taxes, got back $500 the first year and $1300 the second. Plus having someone who knows what the hell they are doing figure up your taxes really helps.

well a bad or bent valve would not be random.
Thats what I thought as well... I was getting randoms. I replaced cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Turns out I dropped a valve. Basically my truck sounds like it has a massive cam at idle and is very very slugish. Have a good mechanic check for this. It may be your problem boss.

Its black but I am going to rap my new console with it. If you are planning to put it on a box or something where you have to use alot of glue, get the upholstery suede. Has a rigid back so the glue wont seep through

Monster cables arent worth it period. I have used them on both my directv and my 360. Just recently switched to $15 hdmi cables from walmart and my picture and quality is damn close if not the exact same as I had with the monsters.

Thats kinda what I figured at first...but you said 5.1. In that case, I would hit up parts express and check out there powered PA speakers like the jbl's they will fuckin get straight loud.
