Dude you shoul seriously think about geting A LOT more power for those two. I have 2 512 and i drove them with a 3000w amp (taking into consideration that the 512 has a single coil so i drove those with 1500-1600w give or take), and a friend of mine has a 9512 and is is driving that baby with a z2lv (the dd amp with 10000w) and still won't give in, and another friend has 2 z18 and the atomic 5000 amp doesn't do the job at all, now he is installing 2 Z2 LV.

You can easily put 4 m3's or 2 Z2lv on those.

well buy you some z95's and run what you want to run on them and post some numbers up

If you're gonna cut down the box size, then you're gonna want to cut down the port area also. What kind of power are u gonna be running per woofer??

Well the amps are going to be 8 Lunar L1500's there rated at 500 watts rms a peice at 1 ohm on 12 volts, but we bench tested them at .5 ohms and at 14.7 volts(which is how I will be running them) and they each put out around 1100 watts. so I would say around 4k to each sub

Ok here goes. I was going to do a blow thru in my truck with three 95z 15's then I realized that 2 18's had almost the same surface area as 3 15's. So last week I sent my 2 15's back to DD to get upgraded and reconed to 18's. I wan't to have the box built before the subs come back but I'm conserened on how much port area I should run. DD calls for 6.5ft3 per woofer and 104 sq inches of port. I will be running the subs in around 10ft3 box so my question is should I still run the 208 sq inches of port DD recomends for 2 of these subs or should I run less port area because box volume is is smaller? Any advise will be appreciated wiether its for the amount of port area or the amount of volume for the subs. OHHH I almost forgot I plan on tuning the port to lower 30's. Thanks in advance everyone.

I got a extended cab with a wall thats 10^3 after displacement with 2 15's in it powered by 4k and I think 10^3 is to big for running that much power. I would recomend the 3.5-4 cubes if your going to be running some serious power on your subs. My subs are on passengerside port on drivers side. I metered a 151.6 so its possible to get loud in a extended cab. You can check out my build log if you need any tips im sure you may find something that will help out. Good luck with your build man
