I have had this shell for some time now just a rebuild I do a lot of testing. It's a wall and all I do is keep changing the baffle if anyone is wondering.

Mach5 and a lot of power
-
If you have the time you could get louder. If it were me I would start with subs firing back 5in off the trunk lid and port to the side 3in off passenger side and move it an 1/8th away from the side until I quit getting higher numbers and tape where the box was and the number posted. The trick is having the front and back wave hit the mic at the same time. I still don't understand it all, for the most part it's trial and error.

Search for the AQX line it's the 2009 model.

id go sundown or audioque. you can get a sundown sae 1200d for less then $450 and it gone have more power then that rockford
Neither true or false saying Sundown would outperform Rockford, to many variables to account for without having both amplifiers and proper testing.

Mine run fine at 1 ohm voltage 14.6 - 14.0 I just have heating issues with mine.

Heavy Rain I liked the demo.

Call them and if it's still under warranty they will send you a box. Then you box it up and ship it with the label they give you and wait. Just a fair warning sometimes they can take forever to send you a refurbished one back. If it's not under warranty it will be 100 bucks.

Buy what works best for you. If you have the money you could buy both and do some testing to see which brand you like better.

so him and his gf can huddle around a pair of headphones to watch a blurray (sp)
Don't hate that's how us poor folks have surround J/P. And that was my bad anyway I linked you to the 360 ones in stead of PS3 so I fail for not reading everything.

good to know. sorry bout that.
No need to be sorry what you said is correct. I was just saying if he competes in MECA then he has to do it a little bit different. I wont down anybody there is a lot of things I don't know about car audio, and I'm sorry if I came a cross in an asshole way.

You are supposed to fuse within a foot or so of the battery, not the amp.
And then, you are supposed to fuse to protect the wire, not the amp. The amp should be protected by its own fuse located on the outside or inside. 1/0 can usually take a 250/300 amp fuse. But 200 is fine its just on the low end.
If he is running MECA it has to be 18in from the amp.

Looks fine to me.

Still have to double up on the side wall but only after some numbers, still need to do some bracing and will finish up sealing if off after peak score. As of now it's eating up 43Hz. Sunday I will get and average power score then we will keep adding power until something breaks.
