What kinda subs are those?

Local parts joint didn't have the stuff, but they recommended the following -800grit wet/dry paper, wet sand -attack with some polishing compound -wax like mad. They said it should last for years. We will see tomorrow.

All the amps I have seen have way too much power for my speakers, I am looking for less than 50w RMS per. EDIT: besides, it's free.

My friend has a wrecked Jeep with the Infinity sound system. I was considering trading with him for the amplifier from the system, as I am looking for a low-powered 4-channel amplifier. Anyone know what output that amp has? It's out of a 1998 Grand Cherokee...

The plastic lenses for my headlamps keep clouding up. I can get rid of most of it with some polishing compound but it comes back in about two weeks. How do I get rid of this for good?

I just replaced my Sony by nines in my car. A couple friends of mine are looking to buy them, but I'm not sure what to price them at. Theyre the 60Wrms/300W peak 3-ways, like-new condition. I was thinking $25 installed, but Im not sure if thats reasonable...can anyone make a suggestion? One friend wants them installed in the factory location for their car. Is $10 for installation reasonable? EDIT to clarify that I am only looking for a value figure for these speakers. I can not and will not accept any offers for their sale and/or trade.

My friend gave me a 4 gauge wiring kit with a Fosgate fuse holder already put in. Problem is, I can't find the plastic cover for it. Now what do I do? Can I just wrap the holder in electrical tape? It's a 100A...blade? I'm not sure...an older kit, clear plastic lid with the red RF logo. The tabs were broken off of it when I got it; it was held on with zip-ties. Any advice?

F/R is correct. Pop test? What's that? Volume has never gone above 20 out of 32 or 34, can't recall which. Then again, it is Sony, so maybe it is clipping... I will try and get some wire to rerun the fronts. By checking waveform, do you mean checking the in phase/ out of phase? I'm new to a lot of this stuff... It was just the tweeters, but now the woofers are getting a real staticky, crunchy noise to them as well. I don't know what it is...To recap, all cabin speakers are off the HU, I have never had a problem with the rear speakers, but my doors keep blowing out. There's no alternate inputs, just the usual positive and negative, so no different ways to set the crossovers up...There are passive crossovers built into most coax's, right? Or is that where I went wrong, do I need to buy some bass blockers or something of the like if/when I replace the presumed blown speakers?

Every night I come home and get on SMD. Every night at about 1am SMD will disappear. 9 times out of 10 I am trying to reply to a thread and when I hit add my browser says there's an IPS error or something like that. Anyone else having this problem?

I did a cone filter on my 3.1 and picked up a little power, sounds better too. I think you can find headers, cat-back etc for a GTP, they will all fit iirc. Or if ya wanna go for bigger, GTP swap =P I'm not sure if those engine's internals are different from yours; may be diff. compression or something. Either way, you want that GTP tranny and axles, and need the ECU and harness. get that together and its about 240hp and 260tq stock, and you can pulley it into even more power.

I wouldn't do it; if it's a foam surround, there's a chance the paint could attack the foam...bad thing =/

Issue with that is, long as I have good grades/until I graduate, I am under the 'rents insurance. only car with comprehensive is my mom's van (not for long though) so I guess I am happy with not having to pay for it but they won't go so far as to get me full "just cause of those god damned gay-bar boom boom speakers!"
