  1. Thanks. Ill just put around 600-700 to them like i was going to do.
  2. So 2 2000s with the gains turned down some would be good?
  3. Well if thats the case, ill just get the dual 4 ohm and get another nine.1 amp. That will be about 600 to each sub.
  4. For the build of this box, i believe it will have to be built in the truck so now it will really be conisidered a wall.
  5. I no how you feel about pics, im the same way but pics will be coming soon.
  6. I used to have a hifonics 1208 and i loved it. I was really thinking about 2 hifonics 2010 amps. Are there any differences between the 2008 and the 2010 models other than price?
  7. If i get dual 2s, could i get 1 2500 watt amp and be good?
  8. Prolly dual 4 so i can wire 2 of them at 1 ohm to each amp.
  9. Well, i came up with my new system. It will be 4 RE SE 12s with 2 2000 watt amps of some kind. Not sure yet. Well i figured i would go ahead and post this build lof even tho it will be a little while before i actually start. Maybe i could get a couple of designs for boxes. They will be walled in a ford ranger extended cab. For the electrical, i have the big 3 and 0 gauge running from battery to amps. I will be getting 2 power master 925 batteries. Could some people help me pick out amps and maybe some box designs? I will post all progress as i go along.
  10. O ok, so maybe do 2 2000 watt amps instead of the 2 1200s?
  11. Thanks man, ill prolly go ahead and post a build log on it and update as i get the stuff.
  12. His James his forum name or what is his forum name?
  13. O yea, i will definitely be posting a build log for this system. It will be a little while before i can get all the stuff i need but i may go ahead and post a build log and update it as a i go along. Maybe some one could help me with a box design also.
  14. O ok, well i hit 144.9 with my 2 15s. As for electrical, I have the big 3 then 0 gauge from the battery to amps in the back. For my new system, ill be getting prolly 2 powermaster 925 batteries to put in the cab.
  15. If the box is designed right, you reckon i can hit in the 150s with this?
  16. Well i believe i have found my new system. 4 RE 12s but not sure on the amps. Since i already have 1 ED nine.1, im thinking about getting another one. So that would be 2 nine.1s.which equals about 600 watts to each sub but the amp puts out around 1300-1400 watts so it will prolly be around 650-700 watts a piece.
  17. I found this website. http://www.shipsound.com/product_info.php?products_id=103590 It shows the REs for 149.95 a piece. Idk if its a good site tho.
  18. The only place i can find them is at woofersetc.com for like $250 a piece. If i get them from there, i would prolly have to buy 2 at a time. LOL Im a poor 18 year old white boy. HAHA
  19. I will be getting four RE SE 12s if i do it.
  20. Well the RE SE 12s call for 600 watts rms. I would be giving them about 600-700 a piece.
  21. Would RE or FI 12s be louder?
  22. The guy at the audio store here in sanford said that 4 12s would knock. He said that 4 orion xtrs would pound with around 600 watts a piece. What yall think about this? The subs are $150 a piece.
  23. Im not sure if my wall is big enough and i really dont wana have to redo it again. Its 7.1 cubic after port displacement. So if i had 4 12s, that would be 1.75 cubic ft per sub. Is that enough for 12s?
  24. Yea your right. Its all about the install. Im sure some one could take 4 10s and be louder than 2 15s. I guess it depends on the box design also. I really like the look of 4 subs and one big port, but i also want to be able to do the :hairtrick: and maybe hit 150 or so on the meter. This is a big decision because both systems are about the same price.
  25. What would be louder, 4 Elemental Design 110v.2 10s with 600-700 watts a piece, or 2 Fi Q 15s with 1200 watts a piece? I can get the 4 10s for $300 and i can get the 2 15s for $400. These will go in my wall that is 7.1 cubic ft tuned to 33Hz.
