  1. Well i tried a few more things today to try to gain some dbs.

First thing is ductape around the front baffle and put some bracing inside the box. Heres the score.

Then i put tape around the edge of the subs to seal them off so there is no leaks.

Then i pushed my seat all the way back and put the back straight up.

It also did a 149.3 outlaw. My camera had a little dust on it for this pic.

  2. huh... i thought it was more like 3-4 cubes per woofer. oh well.

congrats on the new TL. spoiled bastard :P

Yea i love the TL. :) I couldnt never really find any specs on the q powers but ive heard some ppl say that 2.5 cubes is good. I got 8 sheets of mdf so i can build another box if this one doesnt do good. LOL

  3. how much those q powers run u?

and how did u secure your tube ports?... they look easy to remove (no expoxy or glue)

This was my very first box that i built a long time ago. I had it laying around so i figured id use it. For the ports, I just screwed them in and put some bracing between them inside the box. It worked. I no my numbers will drop, but hopefully my lows will pick up.

  4. Well i did a little bit of testing today with my new lab. I had an old box laying around for 2 15s so i put2 of my q power 15s in there and wired my sundown 2000 at 1 ohm. The box is 2 chambers and each chamber is 2.5 cubes with 2 4" pvc ports per chamber tuned to 38-40 hz. The first test, i did a 143.0 at 48 hz. Then i raised my pvc ports up about 2" and i did a 143.7. Then i put the ports on the outside and i did a 144.3 and a 143.7. Let me know what yall think.

Im redoing the port on the box now and doing a slot port with 1 chamber tuned to 43 hz.
