  1. I was driving home today on the highway from school and I was bumpin some Jeezy Hypnotize. I was driving sorta next to some Audi SUV with rim that had a lot of spokes. Normally, going at 70 mph, the spokes just blur and look solid, but I noticed on the different bass hits, the rims would look like that effect you see sometimes with camera's and their frame rate. It wasn't like they looked like they weren't moving, but you could see the spokes clearer for split seconds while the bass was playing. It looked different for each note in the song. Has anyone else noticed this?

  2. I'm sure you're probably sick of these, but I have to post another. I'm looking to get a new HO alternator. I have the stock alt in my 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ w/4.0L I6. I don't know how many amps it puts out, but it's not enough for me. As far as my amps, they are in my sig. If I replace the alt, I will also do the big 3. Now, I don't know what size alt I'll likely need. I also don't really know much about alternator brands, besides people around here use Iraggi and Mechman. I don't want to spend a whole lot on whatever I get. Please point me in the right direction!

I got a quote from Highoutputalternator.com saying they can get me a 200amp alt for $600. That seems like way too much to me. I'd want to spend like half that if I can. I also found a 150 amp alt from Quadratec for $200. It's just a generic brand as far as I know though, so that makes me weary. Plus I don't think it is much bigger then my stock alt, if at all...

  3. I was looking on craigslist at subs and found a definitive technology PF1500TL sub for $200. It's prolly like 5-10 years old (just guessing). The guy lives in my town, so i'm gonna try to go see it and hear it sometime this week. I looked up reviews and they all seem positive. It seems it was a $600-1000 sub new. It has RCA inputs and outputs. Now I'm assuming the output outputs whatever was input, but high-passed (it has a button for 50hz or 100hz). Now if I do that, I can run the RCA's into my speakers I currently have now and it should work out. I'm hoping that's how it works, otherwise I have no use for it. Does anyone have experience with this sub?

BTW, I'm using KRK Rokit 5 powered studio monitors on my computer, encase you were wondering how I could run RCA's straight into my speakers.

  4. i would love to go, and i personally went to check out the school but i dont have that kind of bucks!

besides you cant just get hired from any shop and get paid, i believe you need to be certified or something so then can hire you

Best Buy requires MECP certification I believe. I don't know how involved the test is to get certified. I do know study guide books are $30 for basic and $50 for advanced and the exams cost from $60-$125 depending on what certification you want. Has anyone here gotten that certification?

  5. I don't know if many of you have partnerships with youtube. One of my videos is at like 27,7xx views and I just got an email from youtube offering a partnership for the video, meaning I will get money from them for every ad on the page someone clicks. They made a big deal about not using copyrighted material in the videos, and now I'm wondering if my video will be rejected because I'm playing Lil wayne- Lollipop on my system in the video. I'm sure steve probably has a partnership going with youtube, and in near all his videos he's playing songs on his system. Only reason I'm leery to apply and possibly get rejected is because they said if it is rejected, then they will just delete the video. I don't want my video with nearly 28k views to be deleted because of this.

Do any of you have experience with this? Should I just try it and hope for the best? Also, how much do you make for each click? I can't imagine it's a whole lot at all...

BTW, here's the video if you're curious...
