  1. Hey SMD, gotta aquestion. Dont know if im in the right section but i thought id ask. My wife has a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT sedan which is mildly put together (pics of it will be up soon) well, the fuel level gauge is in operable. Meaning that its stuck on full, but when it runs out of petro, the needle goes down to the "E" and the light comes on. Everything else on the dash works perfectly except for the gauge. Is there a way to fix this?

  2. not to thread jack, but is there anywhere online you can get the pre-molded carpet?

the carpet in my car is shot, everything else is fine, but 2 liters of oil and a gallon of red koolaid does a number to tan carpet...

95 avalon xls...i looked high and low but couldnt find a pre-molded carpet

You can go to www.jcw.com and they carry premolded carpet sets for your exact car for around $120 bucks and sometimes they have free shipping!! Ive order tons of stuff from them with no complaints.

  3. Thanks Dub, but id like to add that, i thought (me being a noobie here), caps were made for storing current like when your headlights dim, which her car does like crazy and thats why we bought the caps. So what can I do to correct the problem. Her system consists of a Hifonics Zeus 14408 4 ch amp which runs a set of MB Quart 6 1/2 coms and a pair of MB quart 6x9's, an AudioControl Epicenter, 4 Hifonics Brutus 12's, a Hifonics Brutus 2608D amp and a Pioneer Premier deck which has 4 volts, all 2 ga wiring, and 10 gauge sub and speaker wiring.

  4. i was stating that i prefer sealed, but if i have to port it, then i want it around 29-35 hertz. wasnt sure about the tuning thats why im looking for some greatly apreciated help. The subs are dual 4 ohms and have 400 rms each. the amps i do have are 2 american bass VFL 150 amps which are stable down to 1 ohm @ around 1200 watts

  5. Hey guys, big question here. I ve been doing basic installs for a few years so i know a little bit about basic wiring. But, when it comes to boxes and major builds, im a lost cause. Can anyone out there tell me if its possible to build a box with 8, 10 inch American Bass XD subs? It's going in a 1987 Buick Grand National Clone. I want to be able to build it for my trunk, if not, maybe a wall but i prefer the trunk... Thanks
