Ive designed a T line for a DD 3510 . The fs for that sub = 33hz, I managed to achieve 35hz working with the space I had. I drive a polo hatch and the T line is designed such that the port fires up.. Is this design going to work tuned at 35hz , and will the port firing sound awesome?

Im from South Africa, and I was looking for somethin cheap but decent to try a t line design, I guess I might as well save for a better Subwoofer then, that fits the spec for a T line Box considering the time money and efffort thats going to go into building the box.

me and a friend just did his xcab s10 with 4-12''solo classics the box is 1.25ea and he got a zx2500 runing them a it pounds the ground hard

okay so its best to ask the manufacturer wats the recommended port arae for their subs, what do you mean by applied power ?

Whats the rule of thumb for determaining the port area per cube?

okay...so all i have to do is work out the Net internal airspace volume taking into account sub diplacement and bracing, then just add the port area time the lenght to that volume??
I thought WinIsd took into account the sub displacement when u enter the driver parameters?

1. Does the Volume entered in the program , include port volume or do I still need to take into account for port displacemant
2. When designing a vented box, is it the voulme of the port vs the volume of the box to yield a certain frequency or is the port shape more critical?

your best bet is 2 2500 watt amps be carfull with those subs though if you read kickers fine print the daily rms is half of what they print
Damn! Ive got the kicker CVX15 on 1000w rms kicker zx1000.1 ... for daily use should i only be giving that sub 500w rms??
