  1. Yup if he is useing all 3 rca outputs 1 should be sub out and already crossedover at 80 hz and down

Thought so but since I've never tried to run anything besides a sub off the sub output wasn't 100% if it would make a difference, was pretty sure it did but didn't want to just say it would and be wrong. Thanks for clearing that up.

  2. If your using all three sets of preouts, isn't one of those designated for a sub output? perhaps it doesn't matter before it gets to the amp as I've never tried it. Perhaps someone will clear that up though.

But if it does matter and your using the sub output to run your rears that would be why. I assume your running 2 amps, one for the fronts and a separate for the rear? If your 4 channel amp has a 2/4 channel mode you should be able to use it in 2 channel mode, with the front rca's to that amp and run all 4 front speakers from it still. Then just use the normal rear rca's to the second amp for the 6x9's.

  3. I'd personally prefer a digital read out as well, but this does look great as is. With a small digital readout on it I would think it would be perfect to my tastes, but it's really just a preference thing

I could imagine this causing a light show in a vehicle that doesn't have the electrical to backup the system. I know it's designed for the purpose of keeping you aware and avoiding issue's, I just assume some people will just buy it and use it in a shitty install just to have it.

Nice work, and 16V+ version would probably sell really well.

  4. When in the vehicle you'll most likely be in the front, so you want your sound stage to be in the front as well. Some people like to run a rear sound stage either for fill or for passengers as well. Others prefer to only run a front sound stage with no rear fill. The later option is more commonly found in sq cars as a opposed to most daily driver and street cars which typically run a rear fill.
