I'm with him ^^^
-
this is insane lol. that would seriously hurt your ears
Yeah, everybody who has one probably needs ear protection like they were wearing in the video lol
-
That's sounds pretty loud, it'll definitely sound louder with a new amp that does its rated.
-
HSK165 but I think its a little more then 400, I think its like 460ish (somewhere around there) but I heard they are well worth it
-
Bigger alts. + batts.
^^^
-
Lol that looks funny as hell but I feel like there would be a big tire indentation in your trunk lol
-
Omg that woofer is flexing the like crazy!
-
I've had that happen to me once, where some older dude who had a system in his car looked back at my car and then he turned his stereo up higher (just highs and some mids, no lows like I had)
-
dd, t3, hertz, focal......and the list goes on and on. they all sound great. but you better have some power on them.
x2 ^^ and by power meaning a nice amp not some Kicker 650.4 because it won't make the comps sound as good as they are (that is if you are going for SQ)
I would recommend a DD, Focal, Audison, or Hertz amp with high end comps but that's just me.
-
Hertz and Focal are high end components ($300-$500+).
I prefer Hertz. (I'm getting the high energy Hertz comps probably later)
-
Toyotas aren't crappy, they usually last longer than American made cars
-
It's hard to find a good 4 channel amp at that price, I mean if you are trying to find a high end 4 channel.
But if you're just trying to find a 4 channel to power up your speakers then it shouldn't be that hard.
-
yea 800w rms a sub and at 1ohm
Or 4 ohm sub because you can wire a 4 ohm sub down to 1 ohm.
-
All the brands have a website so you can look at the specs of them (You'll want something that does 800watts a sub @ 4ohms or 1 ohm)
Some of the brands you can't order online (I think), you have to either buy used from a forum or go to an authorized dealer which would be a little more pricey.

Dude take your time and hook up your neon lite. That what car audio is all about Learning and enjoying.
But I don't have a relay and you said it isn't a good idea to hook it up to the amp supply.
-
Maybe I'll just do without the lights lol
Its too much of a hassle lol
Oh I forgot, if you hook it up backwards without fusing both wires you will frie it. If you have the postive and negative wrong.lol I just thought I could run them off the amp power but it seem to be too much of a hassle lol
Thanks though 2loud4uboyz and everyone else who gave me input
-
I would personally use a relay so it only comes on with the amp.
Maybe I'll just do without the lights lol
Its too much of a hassle lol
-
You can but its not the best way.
Well its just lights, it shouldn't be taking away to much power right?
-
Yes, it's a postive and negative Make sure to us a low number fuse if you forgot the what wire is postive or neg. The best way I found to do what you want is to us a relay or toogle switch. To me you should only run three things off a headunit anything more us a relay.
So it would be alright to tap into the amp + and ground?
If so, if I accidentally put the ground to the + and the + to the ground will something bad happen lol?
-
Don't forget that the wire is connected to a cigarette light tip thingy lol.

Why would you want it in your amp?
So when my amps are on then my lights will be on
And easy power connection.
-
Seems like power and ground...if you have to plug them into your cigarette lighter, then that should act as your "remote"/switch
Would it still work if I cut the wire and put it in my amp?

Sounds good man, personally I wouldn't use the bass boost on the Pioneer deck because its sending a dirty signal to your amps (don't try to make your system sound louder using bass boost or loudness) but that's just my 2 cents
