  2. Correct....I'de use Goo-Gone...but it does leave it pretty greasy/slimey feeling so you have to degrease once after and it "can" be harsh on certain clear coated parts so be carefull there...just don't use hella pressure, let the cleaner do the work and should be coo.

BTW-Welcome aboard bro, glad to see you up this this mug....

    Hehehehe.

I used just the 3M remover wheel.. it got most of it..

then i just had little dirt marks from the years they had been on..

I used rubbing compound and my little 6 inch buffer.. came off pretty good..

now i just gotta wax and buff it and it will be nice..

  3. Well what I was planning was to get escalade handles.. they are a match for these trucks..

Heres a nice write up Click Here

of course now I can't find the place on ebay that had a set for mine..

its cheaper to sand them down.. but if your like me and have no talent for that sort of thing.. its easier to buy..

Edit: the chome on mine are just Putco stick on's.. they look nice tho for the $20-$30 i spent on them

  4. Haven't posted in here before but Ill give it a shot..

Finally got around to taking the chrome molding strips off my truck, also did the ugly black tailgate cover.. whatcha think? I Like

Anyone have any tips for getting the black lines off from where the glue was? I used a 3M remover wheel to get it all off.. but now I have this black dirty lines there.. I am going to try some rubbing compound on it tomorrow morning unless anyone has any better ideas... Thanks

for the record, my next project is to color match the handles, cause i know someone will bring that up..

  5. While I am one of the offenders of high internet usage, I would not have a problem with any

type of metering IF the ISP's would give consumers a way to monitor and track their real-time bandwidth usage.

As of right now they want to set a limit, and not tell anyone how much they are using until it is to late and they owe a ton of over limit fees.

Supposedly comcast has been doing this since Oct of 08 but I have yet to receive a bill showing any extra usage charges and I download close to if not over 200GB's a month.
