  1. SAX125.4pcb_SML.jpg

GUTS of SAX-125.4 model -- lots of stuff packed in there... we did opt for some surface mount parts in this guy to pack it in as small of a case as we could. Traditionally we shy away from them but I think they will work well in a multi-channel unit and afford us the small size our customers want.

Crossover is equal to the SAX-100.4d except we had to lose the 12/24dB selection on the crossover -- it is fixed on 24 dB now.

I hope thoso output inductors will be glued to board really good, I can see them being the problem</p>

  2. gay cun jarred..you know if you bring me 10 big yellow batts from qld ill send you home with my 8v that can be wired up to 18v :)

nice build tho, looks clean (for aussie standerds lol)

haha james i swear you spell my name a different time every time you write it lol :P i can get the yellow top D31 for $379 brand new :P

    mmm my kinda build :D

what voltage are you running since you have z2hv?

Well im only running a 12v system lol. Trying to track down a 18v alt lol

Any alt will do 18, you just need regulator to do that and 16v battery

oh really ? haha i did not know that. Just take it to a auto elec or somthing ?

depends on your alt... most have regulator inside and it is what it is. Maybe there is regulator for 18v for your alt, but I would think not...

best bet and hope and all that would be, if alternator is controller from outside of it, then simple external regulator would be enough....anyway, that would cost money, and probably a lot of it...if your happy with the power, don't change anything, just keep your voltage as high as possible
