    yea i cant wait to se ur vids of it...and np i didnt know what i was gonna do with the box anyway im just glad im not throwing it away it took some time and cash to build that thing...lol i wanna see it when u get it done also :good:

    stock alt pushes 105 amps and it went out recently so i got a new one. so stock batt + 2nd in the trunk?

    and what amp would u guys recommend? i was looking at the aq 1200d wired at 1 ohm. but i was thinking the AQ 3500d at 4 ohms so i have it for when i upgrade XD

    thats not a bad amp it depends on ur budget... like the hifonics Brutus amps myself there affordable and do rated + durable

    ill look into hifonics buddy of mine used to have one and he liked it alot and so did i

    ok hifonics r really affordable i kinda like the looks too

    if i got this amp is it bridgeable? or could i just hook each coil up to its own set of outputs since ill be running it at 1 ohm

    and whats phase and level is just the gain right?

    you will not need to try to bridge it ...it cant be bridged...the phase is part of the sound setting u will be turning it down and slow goin up till u hear a echo (distortion) bass boost knob should be no more than half ...etc the level knob is the gain...u would keep this no higher than 3/4 up never max it out or ulll get dirty poawer and blow ur subs

    ok so i got my mind set on some Fi Bls fully loaded and i was wondering what would be a better plan. 2 15s or 1 18.

    price wise id go with 18, cuz less amps, less batt(s), only 30 bucks more then 1 15

    but what would be louder? either way the box with have 7-7.5 cuft total. box will be in the trunk of my alero sealed off sub/port forward. gonna be tuned to around 30-32 Hz maybe lower ^^

    get the Bl feed it 1500 rms tune 30 hz or lower and you will fall in love :woot: i have 2 fully loaded BL 18"s and ran 1 tuned at 27 hz it was low and nasty

    so i installed them and even did a couple demo's and i must say these so far are well worth the money they out preform my pyle 180 watt components i replaced them with . they are being ran by a massive nx4 @ 2 ohm per channel getting @180ish rms...id say its a great buy no hot speaker smell yet and great sound FTMFW!!!!! :yahoo:

    just got a set of these Orion Cobalt CO500 Cobalt Series 100-Watt 5.25-Inch Coaxial Speakers don't know how good they are but i figured for $15.00 why not try em? i fond em on amazon free shipping with a order of $25 or better.couldn't find anything on these b4 i bought them on here so i figured i test em and let u guys know if there junk or worth the cash :peepwall: getting ready to install them in a few and ill up date ...yes i have pics i will up load later;)IMG_4006.jpg[/img]

    i run 4 250 amp fuse's 1 at the alt,1 at the front batt,at the rear battery bank & then i fused my sub amp & when i upgrade my wiring i will have 2 fuse's per run of 0 as 1 poster said 00.1 db is worth my set up...... i have seen cars burn down from a wire snagging or rubbing .......and circuit breaker are useless after they blow 1 time and dont do well with alot of vibration i have killed lots of good and cheap breakers i like the anl fuse's my self ....it was mine i would fuse the hell our of it :shrug:

    I have been out of car audio for lil over two years but plan on starting another build here soon.My first purchase is going to be my sub 2mrow and i am wanting to run it at 1 ohm.After being on the site again for a couple of days i have been reading on ohm rise due to the box and this and that.so my question is should i buy a dual 2 ohm and wire it down to 1ohm and hope for no rise or should i buy a dual 1 ohm wire it to .5 and expect rise? if more info is needed about the system just let me know.

    if ur gonna run 1 sub i would get the daul 2 run it 1 ohm u nore the amp should notice the rise...just my 2cents

    although if u use a ton of wire it can affect the ohm load as well as the resistance

    I don't demo in my neighborhood for this reason. Now people know what you have and you can become a target for theft. It sucks but that's the world we live in. But ya people are stupid, it sounds like he's just jealous.

    ^^^^^^^this x2 another thing is turn it down a block or 2 b4 u get to where ur parking ...and get a alarm yesterday if you dont have 1

    ok heres my debate. im not really sure between the two. i currently own a hifonics hfi2500.1 monoblock running my btl 18n2. but i was searching on my local craigslist page and came across a audioque 2200d and i was doing some research on this amp and cant decide which is better. the guy wants 400$ obo. is this a good deal or should i stick with my hifonics. which do you guys think would be a better match for my btl. i cant really afford much more right now so any suggestions on maybe a different amp to look at also would be awesome.

    i would stay with a hifonics if i was you and get a new brz im pretty sure you can get a brand new brz2400 for $400 and u can get a new bxi 2k for less than $300 on amazon...another thing is craigslist is full of ppl trying to sell sht that has been raped and abused ...get a new amp .... also how do u like the HFI2500? i have the same amp im not impressed by the power but its pretty tough takes .7 ohm daily....
