    Okay guys im getting very pissed off.

    So I ran all my stuff, excited to turn amp on.

    Amp doesnt turn on. I put ground back on and it sparked, and once more when I tried it.

    So disconnected pos, put negitive on, amp doesnt turn on. Put jumper wire in from remote to positive, didnt turn on.

    Took my amp into garage, hooked it up, it turns on.

    So I took a battery out to my car, hooked negitive to that, power wire and remote on amp, didnt turn on.

    I'm so out of ideas its crazy..

    Hi guys ..

    So I finally got a car, 16 years of waiting. Its a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue. So, I am piecing my system together step by step.

    I got my SA-12's already, and I ordered my Alpine CDA-9887. It should be here tomorrow..

    But, I have heard stories about not being able to put a deck into a car with factory Bose systems, without having to get one of those expensive ass harnesses. I just dropped $330 on a deck, and am trying to avoid more with a harness.

    Could anyone give me advice on what I should do? Will it work and am I tripping out over nothing?

    Could someone possibly send me the link(s) to what I should need? I'm pretty concerned now, as my deck will be here tomorrow :nea:

    You'd be fine with two of those amps.

    But like I said, I would get the Dual 4 ohm verison, so you can run it at 1 ohm, instead of trying to run it at .5 ohm and frying it, or running it at 2 ohm and not getting all of your power.

    Well, I can tell you that amp isnt gonna put anywhere near 3200 watts out .. Maybe 2k.

    I cant stop you from doing what you want.

    If you do however get that, I would get the D4 ohm for the subs, because your gonna have a fun time trying to run that amp at .5 ohm.

    .. Got suspended today, and English teacher said I need to write a 10+ line for school to make up credit I missed for being gone .. But heres what I got so far :

    Bass hitting heavy

    My trunk knock

    Lows run my Chevy

    Aftershock

    So thats all I have .. and It needs to be 10+ lines, and im kinda running out of ideas.

    If any of you guys could throw in a line, or anything that'd be great.

    If anyone was wondering, the 1st and 3rd line have to be five syllables, and the 2nd and 4th be 3 syllables.

    Throw me a line .. Even if its bad. Thanks guys!
