    yea, but his son has been showing interest in it :spiteful: watch him show up his old man,lol

    HAHAHA I can picture it now Steve and his son head to head lol.

    It wouldn't surprise me if he did show up his dad one day but for

    now I am pretty sure Steve's safe and its a unfair comp because

    as time gos on the subs get bigger bass gets lower the amps pump

    out crazy numbers. But if we had a mentor like Steve for the 1st

    half of our life we would kill it to.

    i have 2 sundown 3500D's coming my way. i have owned the 3000D's for a while and loved them. very very nice amps. i havent heard the nightshades, but also have a pair of 18's on the way sometime so i'll be able to give an authentic opinion on them. but everyone that i have seen own them are very pleased with them.

    Let me know if you like the nightshades my mate wants 1

    Thanks guys not to many people in Australia that are really into big car audio like sure there heaps of people with there 12s and there pussy 10s and 1 or 2 with there 15s but hardly now one with 18s so thanks for the help if you have any more ideas for me let me know i will hit you guys up soon about some mids and highs and some amps for them but not sure how much i have to spend need to see how much the subs and amps are thx for now.

    Hey guys i am planing a new build but i have looked at almost 50 different subs

    but i don't know what i should get. I am looking for 2 18s that are not the most

    expensive you can buy but not the cheapest i don't want no shit in my car. I also

    need some amps to power them i am going for just a 12v set up. My head unit is

    5v RCA output i am looking for some real good air move meant some extreme

    excursion for some sickening bass :bad: . I am not into SPL this is just for daily

    use so it needs to be able to play over longish periods of time so any ideas please.

    Hay guys my 1st post lol been reading almost every word on these forums though. Ok here's my plan

    Head Unit JVC KD-R905

    Subs FI BTL18 X2

    Sub Amps RF T40001bd X2

    Door speakers RF T162S X4

    Door Amps RF T400-4 X4

    Bats XS D3100 X4

    Going to have all my music on an ipod maybe run a cd stacker aswell.

    Ok that's what I was planing I want to know what you guys think about it all. I am not sure

    about any of it just in planin stage my 1st big build. Got a few mates going to help me out

    and i need to know what do you think I will need in the way of alts and if i will need more

    bats and yeah anything else you can help with thx.
