  1. Gentlemen, I finally just had Christmas with my out of state family last night. Unfortunately due to a miscommunication my fantastic family has gotten me 2 DD-1 HV's! Now I obviously have no need for 2 DD-1 HV's, but I do not yet have an IM-SG. So I would like to return the 2nd DD-1 HV with a check for the difference and exchange it for an IM-SG. Oh they also got me a CC-1 and I jumped on the pre-sale for the AMM-1 so the only tool I'm missing is the IM-SG. It would be incredible to have all the SMD tools! Only thing that would top having all the tools would be some swag possibly a D'Amore shirt or a SMD hat.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. so i don't mean to question a product that i know you guys have put a ton of hard work into, but i was just thinking about this while watching the video.

Tony. how hard would it be to make it so you could plug it into your computer, do a sweep in your car and see how things plot out in each setting?

just kept thinking how useful it'd be to be able to see the impedance curve through the frequency range, or see the efficiency % through the frequencies.

then you wouldn't be sitting there going...uhhh i think i saw around X efficiency at about Y Hz.

then you could sit there, have the door open, see how your (power efficiency, impedance, ect, choose your poison) is doing, then close the door do another sweep and compare the two graphs.

it'd make this already amazing tool just that much more effective and awesome.

just a thought. love what you guys do! :good: amazing work.

Great idea but STOP helping them spend my money!!! LOL

  3. DAMN YOU Tony D'Amore and Steve Meade!!!!! I've been saving for the first 3 meter tools and you go and make a 4th!! :suicide-santa: You are going to financially break me, do you hear me? I didn't quite get why Steve made himself a case to hold 4 tools and had the DD-1 and the DD-1 HV in it. But now I see he was plotting for the future AMM-1.

  4. Oh guys, i need some encouragement.........i wanna cut a huge hole for a dropdown battery cavern (where the third row USED to reside) but i have always been to much of a little girl to do it - but now that my truck is a 2001 (old), its already dedicated its life to beat, and is somewhat internet famous, WHY THE F#ck not right? I would gain myself so many more options if i did that.......

i cant just build a Battery rack like chickens EXT - the batterys will drop below the roll pan if i do that and i dont wanna fiberglass another lip......

anyway on the drop down battery box.....

can i get a DO IT DO IT DO IT????

also if i do, who needs a third row for a tahoe, ill have a spare that wont ever get used again -

Hell man, I'm coming out that-a-way in a couple weeks from FL I'll help ya cut it if you let me!!!! Just so I can say I had a tiny part in the build. I was gonna ask ya for a demo but that's obviously outta the question now!!

  5. Seems like he's going with a set of JL G Series amps, a G-Max for subs and more then likely a G6600 for mids & highs. He wants to keep it all the same brand! This will work for his needs and since this is the biggest system he's ever had I'm sure he'll be content for awhile. Considering he loves my daily system which is only on JL mids & highs on a 300/4 and 2-12w3's on a 500/1. I'm probably gonna gain it down in the beginning and when it's not loud enough I'll "re-tune it" louder for him!!!

  6. have u been to mad marks off of 1st street in bradenton they are way overpriced but they know there stuff, or u could hit up 941 customs, ill see if i have his number anymore and post it up in a bit, but like the guy said before ive heard decent things about the ap 30001d, or possibly hifonics amps

Mad Marks!! I ain't been up that way in a long time! I was just on their website and they seemed to have stepped it up from what they did years back.

  7. I need to find a matching mid/high amp and sub amps to run a daily usable system with 4 x JL 12w3v2's not sure if they are D2 or D4 ohm coils yet I'll know later today. Looking for good sound and good price. JL 450/4 and 2 x 1000/1 are definitely pricey, but that's the power area I'm looking for. I'm not really liking the look of the 09 Rockfords but the appearance is less important the the numbers. Also any dealers in Florida (941 or near by area code) that I can view/audition your suggestions would be very helpful. Most of the car audio shops in my area have closed down.
