Strapping? Basically it connects two like amps so they get all their commands from one amp. Some amps like the AQ's have provisions where you can do this. You have one 'Master' amp you set your gains and all on, and a 'slave' that works off the same commands. I'm sure someone else can explain this a little better than I can.
so basically you tune one (master) an the other one (slave) knows wat to do since they are connected?

If its what I'm thinking of, some amps have a "master/slave" switch. You can run a patch cord from your "master" amp to your "slave" and both amps can be controlled with one gain knob, one crossover, etc.
Of course I'm sure it's not that simple; I haven't tried it yet but I know some amps have provisions to do so.
so does this aq 1200d amp have that ability?

After reading a bit more, I believe that would be strapping them as the impendence after daisy chaining them is at 2 ohms instead of 1 ohms.
what is daisy chaining them mean? and how do you strap two amps? im kinda a noob so plz be patient with me as i like to ask questions bout every thing so i will know. thanks

oh ok sounds easy enough so about how much power would they be seeing?

I would say get a pair of AudioQue 1200D's they are 249 a piece, and I believe you will be very happy with them.
ok so if i went with them two how would i split my rca's to run both amps? i know it mite be a dumb question but im kinda new to all this..

i used to have an amp just like that an it always got hot an then i sold it to a good buddy of mine an he put 2 q power 15's on it an it would get so hot it would blister your hand if you touch it an a full can of pop roled on to it an he did not know an it blew up and sprayed every were. i would prolly say its normal for it an if you have it some were were the heat is trap and it cant get air that could be part of it to
