if you dont mind me asking....why do you need an 18?
honestly no one here in my town has one so its something new and from what ive seen they pound pretty hard and eventually i want to get two.

for SQ, i would go with a Havoc or a Q, for SPL, go with a BL. those should be fine on your electrical system if you add a secondary battery.
an 18 might not fit. measure your trunk dimensions for a rough estimate on how big of a box you can fit.
the trunk space is 16 cubic feet also would two 15s be better?

x2, experience and knowledge is a VERY important part in installing a high powered system.
you would need to spend a hefty amount on electrical upgrades alone if you want to support a +2000w speaker. if you want a clean sound, the mayhem would be the way to go (vs the btl), but if you want cleaner sound, you can go with the AA Havoc or the Fi Q.
so since i have stock electrical would it be smarter to go with a fi bl or aa havoc also would an 18 be good for my trunk space?

do you think it would be smart to let a shop here in town do the work? because i was just planning on buying the stuff and letting them do the work.
