wow I can tell alot of you have never touched an aq sub before.

I have ran 5,000 rms to my 12" dual 1 ohm aq hd3c aluminum coil sub and didn't have any problems

2ft tuned to 34hz (sounded way better than the 2.5 at 40hz aq recommends) power was from a digital designs z1 at .5ohm only time I had troubles was on tones then it would max out suspension wise but didn't get that hot

I have no doubt in my mind the hd3c would get louder than the btl off the same power mine started to get loud off of 1000 watts

i thought z1s were 5000w @ 1 ohm...

sure. see what your port area comes out to, make sure u have the room to tune it low enuff, and most importantly at least a double baffle and brace the hell out of it. :hairtrick:

yes they wil be 18"

if its 16 cube that is about half the port area u should have...

u could have more port area if u stacked 2 subs on the passenger side and had the 3rd between them in a triangle with the port top-bottom on the driver side. that would also put more cone area in front of the meter .
