  1. Your going to want to wax or seal the paint on that Dart after you get it polished out. No sense in spending all that time and not protecting it from the elements.

I have been using Adam's polishes stuff. Its pretty high dollar but customer service is some of the best I have ever came across and the products are the best I have used. The way they set up their products its easy easy to use and you know exactly what chemical does what. http://www.adamspolishes.com/ go to the website and watch the detailing videos they will give you so much more info and some of the proper steps to doing good work.

Lately just to try out different things I have been ordering from https://www.detailedimage.com/ good prices on a lot of stuff.

Chemical guys is also a really good company but they have a crap ton of products and it can get really confusing with them because they have so many different things that can do the same thing.

I tend to stay away from anything from vatozone or anything like that after buying good products online. They are so much better quality and a better deal.

90% of the finished product comes down to the procedure and prep work. So good technique is key.

  2. I know for a fact you can get the tilt sensor, proximity sensor, and extra peizo alarms through Best Buy. We keep them in stock in our bay. If you would like me to I can get you the sku's tomorrow when i get back to work. Like n8ball said I hope you realize what your getting into. You can mess up a lot with a remote start if installed improperly, and if the alarm is installed improperly it is worthless. As an employee you get a good discount on services and if you want to learn I'm sure you can have the installer schedule you on a day that he has time to show you how it works. I payed for my 5901 to be installed. I understand it but don't think I could do it correctly by myself.

If you can create an oms for a product you can get your discount on it and I'm about 85% sure a 98 ford doesn't need a bypass. TO make sure add the remote start widget on your etk page.

  3. A family member of mine just opened a off road park and camp ground in Eureka Springs Arkansas. (about 3 hours from Tulsa, Ok for reference)

But its called Wheelin' World Off Road and RV park. I was there this past weekend and had a blast. he had trails that I took my stock 2wd through and he had trails made that only the big boys with custom frames and dana 60's with 44's could go through so there was fun for literally everyone. There was a pretty awesome band playing on the stage and he said he does karaoke every weekend and the weekend of the 4th of July he was doing a free wheelin' weekend. meaning you can come wheel for free. but figured some of you guys might think its interesting check out their website http://www.wheelinworld.webs.com/.

thanks if you take a look. if you are interested in contacting them the phone number is 479-253-5509

  4. Why not just use the rca pass through on the amps if your running multiple amps for your subs? thats why its there. so you dont have to use y splitters.

but from what i have read the subs rms is 400 not 900 and rms on the 9104 is roughly 900 so you will under power the subs but use the one 9104 instead of mixing two different amps especially if you putting all the subs in the same enclosure. you can build the box accordingly if you are under powering the subs to make up for the power loss.

use 4 gauge wiring or 0 gauge with 4 to 0 gauge wire reducers and do the big 3 up front.

and for the remote turn on just daisy chain from one amp to the other if you keep two amps if you add a 4 channel for mids and highs along with the two others you might want to invest on a $10 relay.

  5. I have only had experience with the 40. It was a cool unit had some great features like the bluetooth, dvd, 7 band eq, and that touch whatever its called. the feature where it senses like hand movements and turns the display on if it dims but, the unit didnt have the greatest of sound quality just like all other jvc's i have dealt with and it only had 2 volt pre outs.

Its your money, if you like it you cant change your mind but I think you would be better off trying a double din or good flip out if you want a screen to.

  6. pioneer just released their new models and dont have a street date on them yet so you could go with this but its an 09 model but still has 7 band eq and 4 volt preouts. no blue tooth but has 2 usb inputs ,front and rear, and it will read ipod through usb.

  7. I hate trying to navigate audio controls on the newer jvc's is the downfall of it. I have quite a few regular returns on the jvc saying that its slow loading mp3 cds and flash drive but i dont know if thats just customer opinions.

the alpine wont even recongnize an ipod through usb you have to have the ipod cable through the connection in the back cant think of what alpine calls that connection right now. and alpine locks out the ipod through any connection other than aux

    also try this one.......

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Pioneer+-+50W+...p;skuId=9232608

    a) its pioneer so you know its decent atleast

    B) 3 rca outs

    c) 4 volt pre outs

down fall price is higher than the others and rear usb but you can just run it to the glove box.

  8. just wait after 100 hours of having your plasma and have it calibrated and it will last longer not burn in ever and not run hot. best buy can do it for like $200 its worth the money after you get the time put on the plasma.

the organic led's like the samsungs look great but still not as good as a plasma. but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. but plasma is still going strong and on higher end equipment will be going strong until they can get some lcd stuff better like the brightness and refresh rate. but with 240hz technology coming out it might not be to long.
