depending on the sound your looking for tuning it to 32 hz isnt neceassrily gonna hit hard, its gonna hit low and shak the siding off of houses. if you want it to hit hard and low 34-36 hz is a great middle point if you ask me. im sure other guys will tell you the same thing roughly. my boy has 2 fi 15"btl tuned at 35 hz running off some hifonics amps and they slam HARD and get extremely low. but he also has 5000 watts on them. there are gonna be some other variables that will come into play if you wanna get what your looking to achieve sound wise
sorry i just had a moment of clarity and my port math was way off lol try 2h x 15w x 7.68L that should equal 34 hz, someone help me out here im drunk lol....fuk idk

The tuning came out to 36.72, but i'd say decent. my dad is good at building anything so i'll be fine. I just want the right tuning so my Fi can hit hard.

if it was my box id use a 3- 4 inch slot along the bottom of the box, how are your building skills playa?

Yeah man that's what I was planning on doing. But what dimensions would you recommend for the slot?
this is a rough guestimate with my math cuz im drunk, but you could try 15"w x 2"H x 15"L should be tuned around 33 or 34 hz...i think lol (fukin beer has slow right now) and put the port along the botom of the box. id double check my math though, but i ***think*** im right lol

oh and if the sub is firing up face the port toward the back of the car

so im guessing your doing a squar port?? i would suggest a slot port 4-5 inches wide that fi will move some air. my personal opinion on that square port is its not ideal for what your looking for and for what you have the box tuned to. im sure other peole might have a difference of opinion....but i say scrap the square port and do a slot.

so me and my boyz were bored when a customer came in and wanted a simple box with 2 12's and a amp rack built....so we kinda went a bit above what he wanted hahah tel me what u guys think. He was extremely happy and loved the end result!!

so is the chirp built within the siren or like the siren brain ?
i believe its built in the siren and all the alarm does is pulse power to it to get it activated. if u connect the siren to a battery is makes the noise it should, with out the alarm.

I want to install an alarm on my 54 Belair and i was wondering if you guys can suggest a "Paging Alarm" in that price range..
I also want to install it myself so any East to Install type of Alarm out there..
As far as the features, i just want like the basic, like doors, hood, trunk, maybe a warning device also...
Is this any good?
its not bad but you would probably prefe the viper 5002....keep looking around. the compustar isny bad either for just an alarm

well i was just wondering, if i got the new siren and when i would lock or unlock the doors... not sure if it would actually have the chirp
yeh it should work no problem, as long as it worked with the original siren it will work again. u should have no issues

Alright, there are 2 wires going to the alarm currently. So just remove old and add new ?
make sure u use a relay like buddy said or yhou WILL burn out your sien output channel. if you useing both sirens splice into the original one aafter relay is hooked up, if not cut the two wires and connect it to the new siren

hey guys wats up, i live in toronto canada and next saturday im gonna be attending the biggest mma event ever in north america
just wanted to know what your predictions are for the event? did anyone watch the primetime with gsp saying he trains in gymnastics??? honestly that is one of the most strategic additions to any mma training regime ive seen in a while. his functional body strength will be off the chain. sheilds is in for a definent surpise.
