  1. They'll match it, you just have to let them know you want them to match it and u prob need to bring a printout of the cost online (despite the fact its obvious they know the price online)...The workers there dont give a shit about the corporation, they just dont want a hassle with a customer so they'll get it done.

I did the same thing with best buy one time, I had to ask them if they price matched, they said yes and i brought a printout and they matched it.

Usually if its "in stock" at your store online then u can just order it there and pick it up 5 mins later.

  2. The port is still far too long IMO. 8's don't work with long ports in my experience, they don't displace enough air to make the port resonate properly.

Do 1 4" aeroport at like 12" long.

Hm well how do u calculate that. Precision port calculator claims a 4" flared port needs like 36" of length to get the tuning down to 33 hz. I know people tune 8s low, theres no way im tuning this thing above 40 hz...I do zero competitions and could care less whether it did good on the meter or not.

  3. its 50 watts....thats like a .1db increase at that point. Dont worry about it too much, its barely enough to hear.

and watch it on lower impedances, they like to get hot. the v's were worse but the mrp's arent cool running by any means.

yah its rated for 400 but its called a 450 so i figured id get atleast 450 ah well..Thats fine, thanks

Gonna run it at 2 ohms, which im pretty sure there rated at 2 ohms.

  4. Do these amps do more than rated? Im pretty sure there rated at 14.4 but if you had the electrical to hold that with no drops could you see more? Picked up a MRP-M450 wondering if I can expect to squeeze 500 out of it. There only rated for 400 tho despite the 450 name id guess they can do 450 rms

  5. Thanks for tips..Also cant go back wall because its a 34" long port..starting at bottom and going up back wall is too short by about 3 inches. Unless i went from the bottom , came along back wall and then along top of the box 3 inches or so..2 turns..and positioned the sub in the middle of the box?

  6. Think this is def the box ill end up building, will prob get wood in the next few days, just seeing if anyone sees anything wrong with this. Will be mounted in ext cab truck just like you see it. Details on picture. Port area is 12" which i think is just about right for a 0.8 cube box.
