There will be no need for a H.O. alt. That lil Dual amp is the most thats going in there.
I just wanna know whats causing it, not how to upgrade. What could the Pioneer deck be doing to the alt/electrical system? It plays and works flawlessly just shuts off along with everything else when voltage dips. Tried diff batts already.
I really dont know, but the only reason I suggested it was to start the process of elimination
-
Try a different deck, or a HO alt.
Just because it was "rebuilt" doesnt mean the proper parts where used.

ill grab some pictures of the wire tonight and post em on here
-
its not bad wire. i would rather have the flex wire from knukonceptz though.
the soundquest that i used was some stiff stuff. still gets the job done though
not sure why...
everyone thats seen the wire in my truck gives it a 7/10 for flexibility.
Dont get me wrong, its no wet noodle, but I also wouldnt consider it stuff by any means

post here if youve dealt with me

HELLL YAAA So liking that Prautogy. I think I may go with that. Only problem tho its kinda on the pricey side...$595 for alarm/remote start then another $395 for the suspension.
Probally $1000 with install maybe more.

milkshake/honey is all the same shit, resin and body filler mixed to a honey like consistency, it adds alot of strength and has a nice self leveling feature.
I was just asking because it looked like gelcoat
-
whatd you use to wrap the pillars with?
-
did you gelcoat the doors?

I got 10 runs of that wire in my truck, 5 pos and 5 neg
its not as big as Knu wire, but for the price it cant be beat IMHO.
Soundquest is owned by Stinger

their trying to change it in FL also, and make it where you get points on your licesne now instead of just a non moving violation

he got back to me. i was just makin sure the pm's went through, my internets been messed up all week.
whatcha buying me ?

just wondering if anyones even benched their amps and compared them to the birth sheets
-
Ok, so I trimmed the mold out using a die grinder(worked great btw) and wrapped and glassed em after I built the frame work.
just wondering whats the best thing to use to cut the holes out of the glass?
Will a flush trim bit crack the resin into large chunks or will it eat through it like MDF?

I'm a fan of the T-Rex style strippers. PartsExpress The built in cutter with efficiently cut 12g speaker wire, but you have to be careful not to stick too much in there otherwise you can ruin the pivot. They do take a little while to get dialed in but once you do you can take a wiring harness and strip 4 wires with one motion in the jaws. This stripper saves lots of time if you are going to be doing lots of deck installs. Also this style of stripper will automatically strip a coaxial antenna cable without going into the second layer. I still use a regular scissor style stripper for making larger larger cuts up to 4g.
I got the same thing, but matco.
I love it

Optimas are slow recharge, slow discharge.
You need more burst power with car audio than anything.
Camping trips and stuff like that, Optimas are hard to beat.
