im not planning on covering the box right away, so ill probably do 36-38. if i want lower ill just rebuild
-
32-36 sounds great. anything under 35 really will smash the lows, but im personally partial to 32hz tuning :spiteful
edit: saw your sig, those hifonics will not put out 1600 rms each. just sayin.
either way it should sound alright, im aware their not the best amps but im 17 and on a budget lol
-
thats fine man
thanks for the input bro
-
the back of my tahoe
-
ive read 32-36, its going to be a daily system. what do you guys think?
oh yeah 800rms each, there will be 4 subs
-
most people just make their own, do you have a drill press or know someone who does?
-
That's what I wanted to hear, thing 3 4" ports would be adequate?
at least...what are the box specs? your sig confuses me lol
-
type r 15's are NUTS. for the price, you almost cant beat em. ive heard a few setups with the 12's and 15's and they were all winners in my book.

u could change ya ground and/or different rca
its not that ive already tried. im pretty sure i need a alternator noise suppressor, but they go between the alt and battery and i can only fin ones that are like 30amps and have tiny wires! does anyone else know about these?
-
this is the only thing i could find on the net, i didi what it showed in the picture and no help. i also moved the rca's completely away from the power wire and it still didnt fix the problem!!!!!!ugh
-
i cant move it anywhere else, its as far away as it can go
-
-
they cross once under the amp rack thats it. the power wire is like 4 feet away from it at all times. ive heard of an alternator filter does anyone know about that?
-
heres a video a took with the music level at 0 with everything on. it must be the alternator doing it. i tried a ground loop isolator on the rca's and it didnt fix it. any other ideas?
-
depends on what 3 way 6x9's you get. you can get a pair at walmart for $20, and they suck. spend a few hundred dollars and you will get a nice pair...

ALMOST any aftermarket deck is better then a stock deck...and yes pre outs are 1000x better than any line converter.but you still shouldn't cheap out on a head unit. also look for functionality that suits your needs, like usb input ect..

gotta love craigslist....

whats a car audio site without a tit or two?
-
yeah i kinda get what you say...i want it to be something unique. maybe a social community for car audio builds?
-
not sure if this is the right section but...Im running a new website now that is currently just free image hosting. what im planning on doing is adding more to the site and make it like those myspace layout sites you see arround the web. i may program a site in the future to be for car audio personal build logs with free image hosting... anyone like the idea? more ideas? anyone think they can help?
i figured this was the site to look for opinions... thanks guys

im not looking for a spl winner. it will probably never see a meter. ive had alot of experience with them and they are pretty reliable, all i need.
