looks loud!
Eh it's decent, thanks

how did you like it? did i get loud enough? just got the go ahead to get 2 18's ssa icons so now idk which way i wanna go with the box
I liked it, however just a regular subs up port back/up would have probably been comparable. Also no wall obviously allows you to still see out your back window (if you care about that). Just don't see much of an advantage walling unless your going to do it behind the front seats.
-
I had my Explorer walled behind the rear seats at one point in time.
-
I say 5 per baffle just so everything's identical.
Yea that's what I'm thinking also. Just thought the two in the back would make it so my tunnel wasn't so deep and I liked the looks of it.
-
you people worry too much about cancellation. that only tends to be problem when you have really long tunnels with a lot small subs in them.
OP give me some dimensions, i'd love to make a sketchup model of this.
Well my tunnel will be pretty long. It is 59.5 deep, 30.5 tall, and 43.75 wide = 45.94 cubes then subtract .75 on each side for the amount of space the wheel wells took up on each side so 44.4 minus sub displacement which is 2 cubes so 42.4 then all bracing and baffle displacement (each baffle will be triple thick so 2.25") ill be right around 37-38 cubes. Planning on doing 15 sealed and whatever I end up with ported hopefully around 22ish.
-
look just like price setup
Yup, just 15's. But don't know if this design wouldnt be as good as just having them all on the side. I have the space to do whatever.
-
i would think cancellation with the 2 in the back
Yea I didn't know what type of problems I might have with those two in the back. It's just I know twisted new build with the 6 15's has 4 on one side and then 2 in the back, and then jp's 10 18's is going to be like that but most designs like this I usually just see the subs on each side.
-
So I will be using my new 10 15" Obsidians and am debating how I want the lay out of the subs. I will either be doing 4 on each side firing at each other with the baffles being on an angle and then having two subs in the very back firing forward or just do 5 subs per baffle on each side. Obviously both I will make sure have the proper airspace. I would like to put the two in the very back just because I would like the looks of that but just what opinions, pros/cons?

It's to late to try again...my picture made it in the top 5 and now I just need as many votes from the public as I can get. I don't know if its supposed to be funny or not its just something people do I guess? I didn't know what it was at first but its just simply laying like a plank lol.
