Tbh and straight forward for 4 18" IA's it doesn't seem to be hitting hard at all, I think they need more power or new box .2cents

i actually gave freekdesignz a demo today, it was unexpected but we were both at the mall and he saw/heard me and did a quick demo because he had to go but yea give a day and time you are available and we can try to get this demo session going lol
O nice, I really can't remember tho. But yea I won't be up north till like the end of April but hopefully sometime be able to meet up.

Laugh it up but I need to know what "still doing over a 50 from 28hz up" means.
It means metering it with the termlab, from the frequency 28 hertz and up is doing over 150 decibals
still sounds pretty good.

Well not sure exactly what I'm doing, not to concerned about performance just trying to get a little sound outta the V8. Thinking of going with the flowmaster 50 series suv muffler because I dont want LOUD like the 40 series, just a little something when I step on it.
One day, people will plug their ears when I turn my s*** up!

Thanks man, but I sold it to do some other things to the explorer. Giving it a black paintjob, just picked up my 22's, and doing an exhaust. Will either be getting another 40.1 or just picking up 1 big amp when I get the chance

Well I sold one of my IA 40.1 and three of my batteries which is why I met up with these guys. So I'm only running on half power (1 40.1) but its still doing over a 50 from 28hz up so its still ok

Yea I already have two of the 40.1's and they are beast. I love them, just looking to get a lil more power, but will most likely hang onto them for a while. Just the interest of trying something new, but my wallet isn't quite so interested lol.

Sorry for the bumping of an olderish thread but o well. Doubt many people if anyone has experience with both, but how would these compare to the older style IA 40.1's. Running on just a 12 volt system.

Haha yup that's me. And actually the cops have been pretty cool. I try to go to an empty parking lot when people want a demo and one time a guy officer came by to see what we were doing and I showed him and he was amazed. Wouldn't get in tho. Then a chick officer came another time and I told her about hairtricks but she wouldn't do it either lol.

Yeah i hear ya, i´m gonna install my 2 18´s swift box inside the explorer for the moment, swift´s roof is cracking already
I wanted to build 4 18´s without a wall but only way it can fit it´s like your box, i wanted to stay under window line but it´s impossible with 4 18´s trying to do some hairtricks haha, will see, congrats again!!!

Lol thanks alot, and yea definitely louder than before and at a lower frequency. Not sure when I'll meter it but I'm sure I will eventually. Wasn't made for that, more for a daily driver that gets lowww
