  1. i ordered some tweets from them, waited waited waited, after about 2 months waiting i contacted them and the chick told me they didn't have them in stock or didn't carry them anymore, and i was like, "wtf no email or anything?" they said they'd replace them with something else, but i just asked for my money back, which they did return within the week

Shit thats all I need to know to take the site out of my favorites. Good lookin out

  2. Hifonics are rated at 14.4 like many amps and they will do the rated power at 14.4(little more if you have better than 14.4 voltage) - priced low due to volume sold. Good product, battle tested but not popular on this forum due to price. However they will pull heavy current which depending on your set-up can cause issues.

Haven't clamped an AQ yet but Jacob from Sundown has and AQ did a little over rated power in his test and he is one of the best sources on this forum hands down.

Either amp will require your electrical to be up to snuff, if you don’t spend the money there then your question is irrelevant.

  3. I'm looking into multiple different amps trying to keep my mind as open as possible. Looking to up my power from what my Colossus puts out. Truck clamped at 2154w at 2.49ohm and my subs want more power and one more 18" brother in the box. So amp shopping I go.

My truck is set up with buckets in the back so I have been looking to find an amp to stack in the middle of my rear seats and create a middle counsel feel to the rear of my truck.

My question has anyone out there used, tested or have any real world info on the Power Acoustik STAX amps? The set-up would work perfect and the price is nice of course but I have no idea if they deliver what they claim or if they can be wired at .5..

I'm well aware of the performance of Sundown, AQ, RF, Stetcom amps etc, I'm just looking for someone that may be able to shed some NO BS info on these amps specifically.

  4. thats his car and his own taste so let him be! as long as they are put on the right way you would not have issues!

No doubt guys..Do the haters have to attack everyone for everything. Lambo doors are like anything else, just an aftermarket piece for the car or truck that will make someone elses woman want to ride with you.

If you get Lambo doors don't believe the kits stating direct bolt on. (100% untrue) To properly install is key and will require someone with advanced welding skill and mechanical precision if you want them to last. Many kits want to use the existing door hinges and that is where the trouble usually starts. Those kits are cheaper so keep in mind you WILL get what you pay for.

Unless you're a serious auto body man and understand the engineering side of the door swing, cabin seal and weight balance ratios etc you better just call a body shop with a great rep. Best bet is wait for the next classic car show and talk to owners of the older 1950 and below street rods. These old guys are usually tight in their circles of talented customization resources and most of the time are no BS guys. Can't go wrong that way.

Good luck and spend the extra money.

  5. Your eyes will be sensitive for about a week or two but after that all is good. Keep your eyes wet with the artificial tear drops and keep your eyes closed in the shower (dont let the hard water hit them, clorine is no good from the shower water) The better the healing the clearer your vision will be at the end. Get off the PC..Your eyes are straining looking at the pixeled screen know it or not.

I hade staring in street lights and headlights for about 2 months but no worries it will all come out good. Congrats man, it was the best money I ever spent I know that.
