    I don't know enough about performance to know what to buy and make a difference I can see, so I will throw it out to you guys for some help. Thanks Guys.

    I have a 2004 5.3 V8 Tahoe and I have added the upgrades listed below to the motor. They made a difference in my acceleration. I was wondering if anyone knew of other "worthwhile" small/medium upgrades I can do to the motor for better performance? I would like to continue to better the HP and Acceleration without breaking the bank. (Need to keep cash for more audio)

    i just came back from my local stereo shop. (if you can call it that) did get some advice dont know if i sould take it or not. they did not have any #2 wire at all. no 4 for that matter. they had 10' of 1/0 and a bunch of 8 and mulity condutor wire. the other shop had nothing at all i got more stuff then they do. anyone know of any good shops to get stuff around the boston area. oh yea non of my shops have any meters at all and do noo shows. wtf

    going to go and order off line i guess i have to wait for shipping i hate that!!!!!!!!!!!!1

    I'm just wondering, if I were to get the Rockford speakers, would I need an amp to power those?

    Get the RF Power series 6.5's you will be happy you did. The mids rock.

    Got my huge order of supplies in 2 days on my doorstep.... I have ordered from a bunch of places for stereo any my only regret is I didn't use Darvex until my last order. Hands down without question my best experience. There is no place I will order from without checking with Darvex first..

    I see all kinds of kits out on the web for dropping my 2004 Tahoe but this is a bit out of my knowledge range guys..

    Anyone have any suggestions on complete kits made for my truck that I could get? I would like to get a complete kit with everything needed so I can take up to the shop and have it installed without having to buy additional stuff after I get it there.

    Here is the info on the truck if needed, like I said I have no idea.

    4x4

    24" Wheels (if matters)

    I'm mainly looking at leveling out my truck by dropping the rear.

    In order to run another amp would i need another battery or something better than my stock alternator? Also how would I wire another amp? Can i just connect the wires from amp to amp and jump the rcas from the line out on my current amp to the new one?

    I assume your Kenwood HU has front and rear RCA outputs. Just connect the 4 channel amp to the front RCA and the sub amp to the rear RCA and you will be fine.

    Another battery is always a good idea but if your looking to keep the cost low you can just buy a Yellow Top battery or something geared towards amp output to use and replace your current truck battery. I would hope you have at least 4 gauge wire in your truck now for power and ground. Few years back I was running about 1500 watts off just a yellow top and I had no problems, but be weary of playing your system too much with your truck in idle or the engine off.

    Look at it this way if you start to upgrade your electrical you will upgrade your sound. But if what you have sounds good for you and you're happy, then add the small 4 channel amp and leave it alone because the cost adds up quickly from the electrical side.

    anyone know any goodspeakers at a decent price. Im gonna need 4 6.5 or 6.75'' speakers for my truck . I dont really wanna spend much more than 150-200 for them. what are the best speakers in this range that will produce good highs as well.

    Here is a link to some 6.5 that are clear as a bell. You better get an amp sometime though if you want any 6.5 sets to sound really nice. These are only 90w RMS for each side. Regardless of what you buy get a 50x4 amp.
