  1. alright doing a 3rd row wall in a 2007 suburban with the 2 4xl 18's and a SD 8k on 16 volt system :hairtrick: ????? anyhow i was wondering if anyone had a good idea for what one of those trucks would peak at behind the 3rd row in a wall setup or any other idea on box and port size this is first build with DC and SD
  2. they are the 16volt batteries with the extra post to run 12volts to the car to prevent problems
  3. guess i forgot to mention going with 4 kinetik 1600 gonna run a ext. reg alt. 250-300amp still undecided (does mla have a module that will go that high?) probably 2 runs each 1/0 power and ground so that amp should make a good deal of power just hope the ssubs keep up
  4. cuseikan how much cu ft did you manage to get in that box in the crx
  5. cuseikan i just finished the box in the shop crx that we dropped in 2 hcca 15's and 2 planet audio bb2400 so about the same power you got and its pretty decent for 2 subs but the 4 13w7 build i finished about a month ago slammmmmsssss waayyyy harder although the crx did lift the windshield off of the geal at the bottom but either have seen a meter yet but obviously this setup will have more than enough poer to max those subs out pretty much he will be running 4 kinetik 1600 probably going with an external reg. alt have you got to a meter yet added any more power.how much port you got on that box? doug118 he wanted the wall setup but i didnt know if the subs/port would load better and probably be a good bit louder but im not sure its such a long way to the front when it fires foward probably doing some final measurments tomorrow
  6. ive never been crazy about aero ports although people use them alot i was planning on a square port with rolled ends aeroport style sorta
  7. nothing crazy on the box gonna do trim panels in vinyl but thats probably it. it is more a show truck than anything else i mean its ridin on 26's bout to go to 30's and it stays locked up in storage but when it does make its way out its gotta be musical so to speak and im kinda banking on some box rise
  8. how much port area keep in mind this thing will probably never see a meter its just gotta funckin pound
  9. i was thinkin the same thing but not sure of the cu ft. i have going that way and im fighting the fact that the customer wants the firing foward of corse he dosent understand the whole loading concept but im more interested to know if they like big ports when tuned for daily probably somewhere between 32-36hz
  10. trust me i tried but he has custom seats done with his dead homie in em so he says hell no gotta do what the man wants probably firing foward but open to opions
  11. subs will be here end of next week and the amp to follow the week after will take pics customer is hoping for a finish date of the 20th hahahahabut we will see
  12. alright hers the deal im a window tinter for the local shop cuz i make good money at it but i also build a few boxes here and there cuz the installers i work with are kinda bland on there creativity and dont really know a whole lot as far as big sub builds go. so i have a customer that just ordered his 2 lvl4xl d1 18's and a soundigital 8k to power them. he has a 2003 suburban plenty of room right well he wants to keep his 3rd ro so what i am limited to is some where between 13-16 int with no displacement. this thing has to be a ground pounder as he is a dj listens to alot of crunk music but it also needs to be stupid loud cuz the only real thing he has to compare to is a caprice wagon w 4 jl13w7 and 4 memphis 2kw (i know notwhat you guys would call a loud setup but i promise this thing fucking slams i built the box for it we dont have a TL meter but an AC im sure he could do 155 or more on buy the way how much difference in those two meters db wise) so seeing as this is my first build with these subs or amp PLEASE give suggestions on port and box size
