i almost guarantee that you wired them in parallel and put it to a 1 ohm load.
you probably have them wired like this
but you need to take them out and rewire them to this configuration
well isnt the JL250/1 1 ohm stable????

two dvc 4ohm speakers will give a 1ohm load which is .5 too low

rewire your speaker to raise the ohm load
i have them hooked up on some 4 ohms speakers.. and it still does it.. well ill go back and double check thanks

so i think my amp went out today.. well first off the amp turns on but then all of a sudden the "LOW OHMS" light turns on.. what does that mean???

It does a 142.7 @ the headrest @ 46 hz. If metered on the dash alot of people on here would agree it is 2-3 db louder so i am almost @ a 145 sealed @ the dash.

Did you check the power connections?
yea.... i did that, see the thing is b4 it stop working, wen i used to have it kinda loud not at full blast, my volume goes up to 40 and i had it on 25.. but somtime it will sound like its not gettin enough power to the amp. but the thing is my amp is on now? and the kenwood light is kinda pulsing..

well as long as there's some voltage it's good, also make sure to check your grounds and remote wire.
yea my ground and remote good.. so if the amp has no volts that means the amp is gone huh

haha nice, if you have a multimeter hook it up to the speaker outputs on the amp turn it to AC and turn on some music or any noise and see what the voltage is.

okay i got this old kenwood 4 channel amp so the other day i was driving and all of a sudden the sound didnt go quiet all it did was sound real low and distorted.. ive checkd all my speakers and there not blown?? so im guessing it might be somthing stupid or the amp must of gone out... well anyways any help would be appreciated
