6875 lbs. I have no idea what one weighs without all that gear in it.
-
I have about the same amount of power in my truck. I installed 1 S3400 under the hood and 3 D3400's in the back. Thats a little bit more than I need but I am also adding a second alt as soon as I have the money. Will probably have 2 - 300 amp alts in there when im done.
I got those batteries during the XS group buy.

Cant answer you about the power supply integration.
As far as the setup goes I would keep the head unit as is. Run the output from the sound card of the PC to the AUX in jack of the head unit. Treat the PC just like you would an I Pod. Having to adjust the volume and EQ settings from a PC would wind up just being a pain in the ass. Much easier to do that from your deck. Just set the volume on you pc and leave it alone.
I was thinking about using that same PC in my truck. Very small and packed with features. The included on board sound will probably sound pretty good out of the box and may save you a few bucks. I would at least try it out before getting an external unit.
This is basically the same setup I use in my house. Desktop PC ran to my Receiver. I use the receiver to control all the EQ adjustments and volume. Use the pre out from the receiver to an amplifier to power my sub.

When you get 2 in there and some more power Im sure you will be doing some :hairtrick:

Looking good. Cant wait to get my HDC3's bumpin.

2 layers of regular Damplifier would be good. 2 layers of Pro would be even better. Get enough to do the inside of your doors and the outside skin of your doors. I did 2 layers on the outside skin and one layer on the inside in my truck. You could also put some Luxury Liner on the back wall of the cab to help keep out road noise. I have Ensolite on mine and it helped a lot.
If your sure 80 ft will do it then just order that. If not order some extra to save on shipping and sell whatever you have left over. Sound deadener always sells fast on the forums.

Any of this still available?

Wow, and how were you not a Boys Life comic? Seriously.. . you sound like an actual candidate. I knew someone that was in one for saving their dad from being dragged by a horse. It was kind of stupid actually, your story is better.
We were in the local paper. This was back when CPR was first being taught in our schools. I had just been taught CPR a year prior to her heart attack. The paper did a story about us and how the schools provided the training. I thought it was BS when I was taking the class. We were all just busting each others chops about sucking face with rubber dolls lol. Little did I know I would actually use the training later.
Funny thing was, it was my first time in a newspaper and they gave me and my bro the wrong last name. They used my grandparents last name instead of ours. I think my Mom still has the article in her house somewhere.

Guess I was one of the 1 out of 200. Performed it on my Grandmother way back when. I was 16 when she had a massive heart attack in our back yard. Stopped breathing, no pulse, nothing. She was just staring at the sky with her eyes open. My brother and I did CPR on her for several minutes while we waited for the ambulance. Was probably only 5-8 minutes but seemed like forever. She lived for another 15 years. Long enough to see my kids born.
It may not be 100% but sometimes it does make a difference. Back then it was 5-1, I remember it changing to 10-1 and now I guess were up to 30-2.

An old 8 track is about the size of a hard disk drive. Tens of thousands of songs vs. 8-12 on an old 8 track. It is amazing. My kids still cant believe we didnt have a VCR when I was a kid. We didn't have a VCR until I was 19 -20. Technology moves very fast indeed.

you guys are old lols
Maybe I shouldn't say that.. kids now are going to tell me that I'm old when I tell them about CDs lols..
Old by age but young at heart lol. My Wife keeps bustin my chops about doing childish stuff like putting big ass systems in our vehicles. After my truck is done im starting on the Camaro

I probably had 50 of them at one time. Columbia House Music Club FTW. I used to read that catalog every month from front to back hoping for a gem to get listed for sale.
-
I wanted one of those so bad when I was in middle school, then cassette players came out lol.
-
My first piece of home audio equipment when I was a teenager was an 8 track player. No reverse but had a big plunger on top to skip to the next track. High tech there. I remember listening to Aerosmith, Kiss and Parlament Funkadelic all the time on it.

Found this add on Craigslist from my home town. WTF is an "a track" ? Illiteracy has over run our little town.

I just baught a Memphis Mojo Quad 1 ohm and a 3.5 or 4 cubes box and i need to kno what amp i should run for this sub and how to wire it for 1ohm or my wiring options for a quad 1 ....also do u think this setup will be loud
That sub will handle anywhere from 2000 - 3000 watts easily. I put one in my Sons car and run it at 3000 watts daily. Tuning should be around 38-40hz with 16 sq inches of port per cube and in a box around 4 cubes net.
And yes it will get loud. Our setup is in a trunk firing forward and we did a 145.1 on a Termlab meter.
You can wire it 4ohm, 1ohm or .25ohm.
-
Sweet. Hope you guys can make it out.
Also, you can count on mah vote.
Well Brian is still waiting for the mechanic to get his used transmission and install it in the Mazda. Its still going with only 3rd gear and no reverse. So the Mojo machine may or may not make it.
I will take that vote sir and beg for a few more

bring it
Im gonna try.
As soon as my ring terminals and fuses show up I can finish wiring in my rear batteries. I have the box done and will slide that in once the batteries are wired. Then I just need my amps to get here from RD so I can button things up and get some beats back in the truck.
Do I get to apply to TDH when I get my shit in order?

Is Rob going bigger or sticking with 2 12's? Beefier 12's maybe. I know its getting more POWER.
-
thats so crazy how that works out...the highest i did was like a 161.2 in the port at their show
I cant remember if we did a 162.3 or a 163.2.........getting old sucks. I think it has a lot to do with the port and its length. Ours was all the way back 16". If I remember right yours is a little shallower and you have the flare at the opening.
I was surprised we did so well in port wars. We held first place thru 6-7 runs then another car beat us, not sure which, then the DD Beast killed us. I think we placed 3rd in the port wars at Crankin Christmas.
I will be at the next show for sure. Dont know if it will be with one 15 with half of my port blocked or with 2 15's. Still need a recone for my blown sub.
With 1 15" I will strap my amps and see what 6000 - 7000 watts will do to an AQ HDC3.
If I get both of em running you will get a little competition in 2 - 15's/18's next show.

Teresa on the 170.6 db, that is just ridiculous. Wish I could have heard that car in person. Nice job everyone though
Thats with the mic in the port. We did the 145.1 with 1 15" during the comp and I believe we pulled a 163 in box battle.

Ready for paint. Well almost.
Did a little extra work and put one of the batteries on the other side to match the drivers side. Give you some exposure from both sides.
Help me with L shaped vent please!

Measure the port length down the center of the port.
