If your metering from 2 different locations in the vehicle your going to get different readings. It isnt a TL, thats for sure but it was close when I metered from the same area in the car. Thats all I can tell you.

Its pretty accurate. I placed my unit on the dash, center of the windshield and did a 144 on it. Have taken the car to 2 shows, meter in the center of the windshield , 1" off the dash and have done a 144.3 and a 145.1 with a TermLab.

thats fukkin cheap for that much labor...i wouldnt go near that fab job for 500 bucks.....and there really is no fiberglass work involved there...bunch of ABS fab and finish work...tons of time getting everything test fitted and buttoned down...honestly not really the job for a novice on a vehicle of that caliber

Right on the money here. That is very cheap for that kind of work. So cheap that I would insist on seeing some of their completed work just so you know they arent fabricating some jacked up crap.

01 S10's design was right on the money. I went over all the sizes and the port length and area just to make sure it was right before building it. I wouldnt have changed a thing.

[Setting up for Competitions]

When are your shows starting up Ed? Would like to go to a few organized events this year. I wouldnt mind coming to a box building party. I dont need anything built but I could certainly help out someone that needs it.

The first one looks better but the color of the font should be changed. It gets washed out and hard to read in some areas.

I think I had it tuned to 34hz, been a while so im not to sure. That box is 1.25 or so cubes net. Its color matched to my truck. 2 part paint with a clear coat.

You might be able to do 2 12's under there but try and find subs that work well in smaller enclosures.

I had a custom box under my back seat with a 10" in it. With the right sub and a big enough amp it would hit pretty hard. Other than that you can buy a pre made box for Silverados that will let you install 2 10's or 2 12's under the seat. But with those boxes you usualy have to mount the amp or amps on the back wall behind the seat.

Heres a pict of the one I had in my truck. Fiberglass bottom, 4" home made aero port with MDF sides and top. Thats a 10" Type-R with a 600 watt Alpine amp.

It fits easily under the seat without raising it.
