im overweight too so its all good. I can easily pick on his ride too but i choose not to, out front or subliminal. Anyone who says something twice because no one was listening, is really trying to make a point. Yes, my rear seat sits straight up instead of at the stock angle. When the amps were just on the box, it wasnt like that. When i put a 2x4 on the top and used that to help trim the amps out a little, the top of the seat hits it and doesnt allow it to lean back as far. Its not as comfortable as the stock "angle" but its not that bad. I dontthink it was that comfortable to begin with. I hope its not like that when i make my re-do but even if it is, its not that bad.......and on top of that, i dont ride back there.

i know right itsnot like hes trying to make his tahoe comfortable for all yall on here hes making it fit his lifestyle and like he said his kids fit back there and he sits up front so idk why yall care about the angle of a seat that you dont sit in your ust thinkin of something to complain about

to me it sounds like the coil came undonr from the cone and thats what your hearing its not sellable so just remove the dustcap and check if thats the case glue it back in place and see what happens

edit: if this happend its probly from bottoming out so from what i saw above im agreeing that the coil couldve hit the bootom and got smooshed and is rubbing

that pioneer is one of the best subs out....scott owens broke some iasca records with that shit doing 180+db

if you know what youre doing and that guy will give it to you for 400 bux, build a nice box and wang with a single 12. and obviously dont go by pioneer specs, they're ridiculously off of what you should do.

im going with this guy pioneers arent known for subs that "wang" but this particular sub can actually get really effin loud

You would have a HORROR time trying to replace just a coil. Totally not worth it for subs of that level.
